I bloody hope it's Sara Cox - I love her!

DH and I both are hoping for Sara Cox, she’s great!

I hadn't realised Greg James was moving to breakfast on R1. If Sara Cox gets the R2 one then we'd actually have a choice between 2 great options, rather than listening to the best of a bad bunch!

I cannot bear Sarah Cox and whilst I'm northern myself I think her voice is awful on radio. It amazed me she ever got a job!

I Vanessa feltz she has energy about her, funny, quick... Her voice doesn't slop out the radio like a runny egg. I like tarbuck, micheal ball

Sara Cox is a joy to listen to on the morning. I'm planning to let the BBC know my thoughts today, I don't expect to be listened to but still going to make my views known.

Can't stand Feltz, she sounds so false and insincere. Posters here have said she's known as being not very nice with those she works with, too.

It’s got to be Sarah Cox or Simon Mayo.......though actually we’ve switched to local radio since the Drivetime sh.t show with the addition of poor Jo (who is fine but not when you want some fun & a giggle!).

Another vote here for Sara Cox. She used to grind my teeth on Radio 1 with her screeching, but she's much more laid back in her approach now and she always plays great music.

I am glad he is going tbh , we have no listened to him since he did a complete turnaround and did Top Gear after saying he wouldn't. Good riddance . I would love Vanessa or Michael or Liza ' Big em up' Tarbuk

She's another one like Evans who is stuck in the 90s, gabbling 10 to the dozen, shouty and breathless - it's all just too frantic.

I haven't listened to the Breakfast Show in years, and I would very much like to start listening again .. but I won't be if Zoe Ball takes over.

Sara Cox or Simon Mayo for me. Just someone a little more laid back than the present incumbent.

I would love Zoe Ball to get it. I want to like Sara Cox, but find her voice irritating. Would rather it went to her than another middle aged white man though. Apart from the token shared role of Jo Whiley, there are no women on in the day.

I'd love it to be Sara Cox too, she's great when she covers Chris. When was the last time Radio 2 employed a new DJ? I know the Breakfast show needs an experienced presenter but it would be nice to give a new voice a turn.
