Evening All,

I feel like I have been away FOREVER! My maternity leave ended and I've returned to work...just in time for everyone to fall ill: a vomiting bug (ds1 and me), very bad tonsilitis (ds2), a bad back (DH)...Cooking, reading, blogging, sleeping are all a distant memory.

We're finally making our way back into the land of the living and I'm warding off the colds with rosehip syrup and champagne.

Hope you are all well, hope to catch up with your posts and blogs this week.

Welcome back Bread... that does sound like a catalogue of disasters, hope you are more in control now :)

I have a very simple recipe for roasted tomato soup with spicy croutons. I made it with the last of my garden tomatoes that we ripened indoors. It was actually published last week, but never got round to sharing it.

Its started snowing here, and I've been craving comfort food, I need the energy for all that shovelling, damn that stuff!!! I am off the internet (or at least, will try my best, lol) for the next couple days... but a special cake's coming soon :)
