Good morning everyone. I thought I'd get the ball rolling with my week's offering. We've had news, of sorts, regarding my son's MRI scan. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with.

whoops x posted with Reality

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 10:38

I do get your points, but my blog is also to give my opinion on lots of things.. and that's why I have been keeping this in for so long.

This is the only part of the site I stick to now, and yes, I am aware that the people here are also on the rest of the site.

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 10:39

Shirley not sure you readmy post properly - I think I said quite clearly that the judgemental bullies are very loud MINORITY.

I see your point - it was literally habit but you're right, I shouldn't have mentioned the post on here. I'll ask for my link above to be deleted.

ShirleyKnot · 18/11/2011 11:03

I'm just really sorry that you feel that way as well PR. Sad

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 11:14

So am I - I used to really enjoy it all.

PR nothing like a controversy to encourage people to read it! I've commented, but under a strange name for some reason, it's awkward leaving comments using an iPhone.

MmeLindor. · 18/11/2011 11:51

PR
Am also sorry that you feel that way, and that we are obviously on opposite sides of the fence as the the DBF issue.

Sometimes if MN gets to a stage that you are not enjoying it, then it is time to step back.

Or go read Classics.

Today I am mainly loving MN, for threads like this one Latin for beginners

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 12:02

The DBF issue is just one part of it - which was very wordy on my post but not to highlight it IYSWIM. It was one of the proverbial straws but this has been coming for a while. I'm just going to keep hanging out in this corner having my arm stroked I went through the Classics a few weeks ago to try and enjoy the good parts.

notatschool thanks for your comment - didn't mean to cause any ruckus on this part of the forum was thoughtless when I linked is all.

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 12:37

Here is my second rant for the day.. another rant about xenophobia in the press starring the Daily Mail.

QueenMaeve · 18/11/2011 13:34

Another Mummy Fail Here.

MmeLindor. · 18/11/2011 15:48

Today I am asking Is My Child Advanced?

and talking about the worry that parents go through waiting for their child to start walking talking etc.

PetiteRaleuse · 18/11/2011 16:44

I tried to comment MmeL but I think it didn't work. Good post though.

overmydeadbody · 18/11/2011 17:50

Woop!

I have just posted about my hundredth project! Project One Hundred:. I have to say, back in January I didn't actually honestly believe I would get this far and stay on target, but only 11 projects to go to achieve what I aimed for!

ShirleyKnot · 18/11/2011 19:02

OMDB - amazing - are you going for 222 next year? Grin

PR - I'm going to pull a couple of my posts to you, Otherwise it looks a bit weird and fighty (even though it wasn't - we're OK yeah?)

In other news, my BOOZE has continued to ferment and here's my update

FlamingoBingo · 18/11/2011 19:29

I didn't write a post today #bloggerfail

But I have got a comp on my FB page for when I hit 300 likes: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=290532444303354&set=a.270938146262784.65885.226041797419086&type=3&theater

FlamingoBingo · 18/11/2011 19:30

And with an actual link :D

One of the best things about blogging, reading and writing them, is the honesty. They are a great demonstration of the reasons why free speech is such a valuable thing. We might not agree with other bloggers but they have a right to express their views and no one should should feel they have been chased away. Let's be kind to each other.

I enjoy your blogs ladies and gentlemen.

Off to make belated tea (too long spent on blog-related activities, very hungry child).

overmydeadbody · 18/11/2011 20:09

Shirley I don't know what I should go for next year, I might try to focus on quality rather than quantity though Grin

Lifeofanexpatparent · 18/11/2011 21:11

Hi All! Sounds like it's be an interesting week. Mme Lindor, looking forward to reading post about whether child is advanced. Don't know that The Duchess is advanced as much as she is VERY strong-willed.

I've got a new post about naming a cross-cultural child and read on to find out about a friend's competition to win a loveleigh bowband/knitted headband. You'll need to enter tonight, so do hope that if you're interested you make it in time!
