Here

I do worry about her mental health. No joke.

"As a feminist, I looked down on mumsy types."

Where do we start?

Shittest. Feminist. Ever.

I'm imagining Greer reading it and being a bit sick in her m

Earthymama · 03/11/2011 08:37

I am not often speechless but.....Shock

MrsChemist · 03/11/2011 08:37

Mouth*

Stupid phone.

LeBOF · 03/11/2011 08:39

It sounds made-up to me. But she is bonkers, clearly. She would never go out with a bloke called Trevor.

melika · 03/11/2011 08:42

I am not sure what is fact and fiction in her writing anymore. I race to the MOS mag back page, even my DH reads it! I feel sorry for her.

MrGin · 03/11/2011 08:49

'I resolved to steal his sperm from him in the middle of the night. I thought it was my right, given that he was living with me and I had bought him many, many M&S ready meals.'

Grin

I'll remember that the next time a partner starts buying me M&S ready meals.

AlpinePony · 03/11/2011 08:50

She's only writing about something that happens. I know you've been on mn long enough to know that.

ChrissasMissis · 03/11/2011 08:53

I am utterly, completely horrified that the DM think this woman is poised to represent the women of middle England. She is in no way shape or form representative of anyone I know. Her beliefs offend me in the extreme.

poppygolucky · 03/11/2011 08:53

Do you know Julia Davis' crackpot creation 'Jill's in Nighty Night?

That's Liz Jones, that is.

poppygolucky · 03/11/2011 08:54

*Jill.

Phone.

VivaLeBeaver · 03/11/2011 08:55

Yes she is clearly bonkers. However its true about women not taking the pill, etc when they say that they are. Not many but some and yes if I was a bloke I'd maybe be concerned.

Trills · 03/11/2011 08:58

if a woman disappears to the loo immediately after sex, I suggest you find out exactly what she is up to.

Preventing cystitis?

So he was right not to trust her then.

Becaroooo · 03/11/2011 08:59

Oh good grief.

She is not sad, or damaged or any of the other things she tries to make out she is.

She is simply a moron.

southeastastra · 03/11/2011 09:00

wow up the sisterhood and snigger at her representing middle england

Trills · 03/11/2011 09:01

Are we sure she actually exists, and isn't a stealth parody of some kind?

In fact, are we sure that the whole of the Daily Mail isn't a humungous wind-up?

exaspomum · 03/11/2011 09:04

Don't condoms have spermicide on them?

nenevomito · 03/11/2011 09:05

Across the country DM reading males will now shudder at the words "Darling, I've bought a 2 Dine in for £10 deal from marks and sparks".

worldgonecrazy · 03/11/2011 09:07

Absolutely stark-staring bonkers. What with her made up Rock star boyfriend, she is just getting worse and worse and worse.

On the other hand, she's getting paid a lot of money to write car-crash journalism . . . . .

tooearlymustdache · 03/11/2011 09:07

poppy i was going to post the same thing!

teenagers bedsheets?

Grin
LoveBeingAWitch · 03/11/2011 09:07

I don't think lj actually exists, it's really a couple of different men who take it in turns.

LaPruneDeMaTante · 03/11/2011 09:07

I couldn't even finish that article! Totally made-up writing-by-numbers DM-stylee boring twaddle - but great "polemic" for getting more hits on the website.

LaPruneDeMaTante · 03/11/2011 09:08

Also - now I'm thinking about how you "steal" sperm. I don't need that in my brain, I've got stuff to do.

SinicalSal · 03/11/2011 09:10

what a load of drivel.

maybe I hang out with the wrong sort of friends, none of them have ever tricked a man into getting them pregnant. Hmm what sort of morality - free zone would do that? Friends of Lz perhaps. Birds of a feather, etc.

My favourite bit was the poor unfortunate lad who now has to pay for a child he never sees Sad Wasn't explained WHY he doesn't see the child. Most likly the wench's fault

rycooler · 03/11/2011 09:14

I don't think she's saying anything outrageous - so women don't get 'accidentally' pregnant? - lol, It's the oldest trick in the book.
