I think Twigs may have been indulging rather heavily in the to have confused S3 Gizzy with JP .

Although I am not a connoiseur - I prefer my gentlemen to be a little more , err, gentlemanly - I do think this one is rather fine.

At the risk of sounding like an utter muppet, I can't see Gizzy in MrT at all. I know the face itself is the same (obviously) but I can't change MrT into Gizzy by visualising him with longer hair and eyeliner. It just doesn't work.

I'd need Spiro someone who's good on Photoshop to physically remove MrT's head and add Gizzy's to be able to transpose the two.

Aha. The technicolor version confirms my initial reaction that there is something ever so slightly wrong with the nose in the black and white drawing that makes it look not quite like dear old Giz.

I wasn't for a moment suggesting that Mr Thornton had any Gizzy-like qualities (heaven forfend, although there is the small matter of his fierce temper). Simply restating my boring sincerely-held view that Mr Thornton is sex on a stick a more appealing gentleman than Messire Gisborne.

I am just the same myself. I can sometimes see JP in Lucas and vice versa, but all the others seem like different men entirely. Especially Gizzy. He always seems so uniquely himself.
