No, no, NO!

I REFUSE to watch RudeBoy.

::staggers off to bed with decidedly weak knees at the mere thought::

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 23:15

That must be a bugger of a job Maud...almost as bad as temporary tattoo artist Hmm

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 23:16

Rudeboy has footwell in it...and Harry Kennedy...Grin

Go on - you know you want to!

LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 23:17

::looks back at you::

After careful consideration I think I'd prefer the tattooist's job.

I mean, which, out of "I zhuzh hair" or "I paint tattoos on semi naked demi gods", sounds the more impressive?

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 23:20

Yep - I take your point Lady D!

Damn you, for forcing me to watch that. I need a tinfoil hat too, I think because whoever made that video has ben reading my mind far too closely for comfort, particularly re. Gizzy and Harry.

If you transposed the shots of Lee with MrT smouldering then it would be something close to absolute perfection, for me Grin.

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 23:28

It is one of my faves, although I can't hear it now without picturing Dawn French shaking her tush to the 'boom boom boom' bit! Confused Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 23:28

It all depends on the choice of words, LadyDamerel. If one were to say "I run my fingers through the raven locks of sometimes semi-naked and always swoonsome demi-gods" it sounds rather different.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 23:37

Although I have always been out to Bloke, I think I may have just give him a new insight into the depth of my admiration for Mr Thornton.

Margaret has just left Milton, so as Mr Thornton came into the room to take delivery of father's Plato I said "so you're really going then?" Bloke raised an eyebrow and asked whether I knew the whole thing off by heart. Ooops.

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 23:43

Oh, dear, poor Bloke. If he was the sporty type you could always comfort him by pointing out how he knows by rote all the dud decisions the ref has made in the Team of his Heart's last ten seasons.

"Just Healthy Enthusiasm, my dear"

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 23:46

How much does that 'Obliging Lady to Mr A' job pay, I wonder? or rather how much do i have to pay them

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 23:46

I did explain that there were certain, ahem, pivotal scenes which I had reviewed in the Bibliotheque de YT.

Must go. My poor dear's business has crashed and the bottom has fallen out of his world.

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 23:46

I'm not sure there are many bits from the TV series I can recite by heart...

The Gruinard Project is another matter entirely Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 31/08/2011 00:03

Oooooh, now I can quote a bit by heart

BEG

SupermassiveLBD · 31/08/2011 00:06

And two hours ago, I told MrM I was going to have an early night.

I must away. Bitey knighty, all

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/08/2011 00:12

Well.

::Feels emotionally drained::

::Fans self::

All of N&S in one evening. Bliss.

That Gizzy vid was quite something, Spiro, especially in my enervated state.

Reveille is being called early tomorrow so I must away too. Goodnight all.

DumSpiroSpero · 31/08/2011 00:14

Night all - sweet dReAms!

Remind me... never... leave... house... again. Stupid blinking phone broken so couldn't read anything whilst away - can't wait for a glass of wine and a long catch-up session. Hope all are ok. I am never leaving the house again. Am reminded of

PassTheTwiglets · 31/08/2011 09:13

Juast a few catch-up bits from this new thread (lvoely job, btw, Spiro - I raelly like the title).

ROFL at knowing GP off by heart :) I could quote chapter 9

I am at one with Massive on the daft hat in the 'holding the fruit basket' scene. As I've mentioned before, that's the one where I want to yell "BALDRICK!!" whenever I see it.

A new Gizzy chapter? Hurrah, will wait til I can give it my full attention once the kids are occupied later.

Insomnia11 · 31/08/2011 11:46

Margaret's all right for a Southern Softie. I admire her self-control and virtue. It wouldn't really have worked if she'd have marched up to MrT and said "Hello Sailor!" and licked his face in the first scene as I would would it?

DumSpiroSpero · 31/08/2011 12:07

Grin!

SupermassiveLBD · 31/08/2011 16:02

Welcome back Twigs. We missed you! And you, Insomnia, of course, you should drop in more often so I feel I am not the only one who is up all night

Hope you have fun catching up, anyway. We had fun while we were doing it. I hope no one has buried Alpha Two in the sand.

I have had a bit of RL to deal with today so I restrained myself from logging on so I could do just that. Looking forward to high jinks later on, when you ladies surface.

PassTheTwiglets · 31/08/2011 18:13

I hope no one has buried Alpha Two in the sand.

Having just experienced a British holiday with 2 small children, I think being buried in the sand sounds rather a good idea.

Right, Massive (or anybody else but you are the most likely candidate :) ), I have a mission for you. This morning I clicked on a pic of Gizzy that someone posted and I really wanted to refer back to i t but I can't find any trace of it now! I even looked in my browsing history but it's not there. Surely I'm not imagining Gizzy pics now?! It was a full-frame close up of his face and it looked like he had S3 hair. It's not a pic I've seen before so none of the usual suspects . He was looking to our right and he was smiling, I think. The, ahem, nose was rather prominent in the pic. Pleeeeeeeeease say someone remembers it! I was sure it was from this new thread but I've looked over and over and can't find it Confused

DumSpiroSpero · 31/08/2011 18:18

This?

DumSpiroSpero · 31/08/2011 18:19
