I've had a double dose of theRApy, Spiro, what with the next Gizzy chapter too.

PLEASE hurry up with the next one Grin.

::Staggers in::

Girl and I have been on a shopping trip.

::Badly need a foot massage emoticon::

We walked past the Clarks shop where a small riot seemed to be in progress in the children's department, so you have my sympathy, LadyDamerel.

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 18:24

You won't have too long to wait Lady D - am about halfway through chapter 3!

Luckily for me, Mr S took it upon himself to take Miss S school shore shopping while we were on our day out. She has decided she wants a slight change of haircut though so need to sort that out and get homework finished, otherwise we're good to go.

When are your's back? Me & Mr S are back on Friday but Miss S doesn't go in until next Tuesday.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 18:32

Anyone care to join me for a drink?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 18:34

The drinks are on me

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 18:38

You poor soles. {wink]

Still a way to go for me at the moment and it's no use acting early cos the heat makes thier feet swell and makes it difficult to gte the right size. Luckily we are about five minutes from the shops.

Unfortunately for the health of the supplementary card on poor MrM's account...

I had a lazy day today, after all that frenzied hoovering yesterday. Grateful thanks go out to Muse. I couldn't have done it without you, lads.

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 18:45

Ah Maud, thanks, don't mind if I do. And who's your handsome friend?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 18:51

::Pours the chateau Gizzy::

I have more than one handsome friend, Massive, but I consider this one to be by far the most handsome. I have some chores to attend to so (obviously) have been wasting 5 minutes by deleting all my speed-dials important academic resources for which the links no longer work.

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 18:59

Annoying how they keep swapping things around like that in the stacks, isn't it?

Good evening, meanwhile, Mr Thornton, and how is your Aubusson tonight?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 19:04

I suppose it's done in the name of greater efficiency, Massive.

Mr Thornton's Aubusson (like everything else about him) is thoroughly splendid if a little threadbare in places.

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 19:09

Does he need some Savlon for the carpet burn? and can i apply it?

Well, I have to wander off again now and interact with some actual flesh and blood entities. Messy job, but hey. One can't stay in neat clean cyberspace 24/7.

BBL.

  1. No - the very idea. You have evidently misunderstood the nature of our energetic discussions of Plato.
  1. How dare you imply.

::Returns to the ironing board::

DumSpiroSpero · 30/08/2011 20:58

New premises at the ready!.

LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 21:13

The makers of that Gisborne wine is Milton!

::realises everyone else has spotted that months ago::

I wonder if a certain Man has sampled that little number, whilst residing in the country of manufacture?

We are back on Tuesday. MasterD2 is counting down the sleeps and asks to war his uniform every morning.

I am counting down the sleeps too.

::resolves not to give Nurse all of August off, next year::

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 21:17

I had just spotted it, Spiro. good to see we have a brand new home waiting for us. and Soldier Boy is there, waiting to greet us all.

Dry and juicy, eh? And complex honeyed aromas.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 21:37

I feel the need for an Academy field trip to further improve our study and ReseArch.

What do you think?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 21:42

::Further snort::

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 21:43

I am sorely tempted, LadyD. Do you reckon they would do us a special deal, for a bulk booking?

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 21:44

Who's going to have the final post in here? Twigs and Small are out of the running for once so it's an open race.....

SupermassiveLBD · 30/08/2011 21:45

They need a GOH, do they not?

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 21:46

I'm sure we could manage to arrange such a deal, Massive, if we had a very good negotiator.

LadyDamerel · 30/08/2011 21:47

GOH?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 21:47

::Somewhat distRActed here::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 21:48

If I don't get the last post I will be distRAught.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/08/2011 21:48

So, did I?
