32 year old woman, separated, one child, healthcare professional .

I've read the posts about XR on here over the last week

Happy to answer anything, but do keep in mind if I'm arrested again today I may well be out of touch for 24+ hours, and longer if my phone is impounded 😁

Who’s going to look after your child if you get arrested?

What are the charges?
Presumably being arrested wasn't a surprise?

Did they have a vegan meal option?

Why do you think that distrupting the lives of ordinary folk going about their daily business is going to have a positive effect?

What do you think you’re going to achieve by stopping normal working people getting to work and doing their jobs?

What were you arrested for? Protesting?

Is your job at risk by being arrested? How will you continue to support yourself if so?
Do you feel at risk of violence?

Do you honestly believe government give a shit about XR antics?

What do you think/hope will be the outcome of ER protests?

Ahh great, you are one of the people causing my police officer partner a hell of a lot of problems at work and why he keeps having to stay on for extra hours so I barely see him.

Won’t your job be at risk if you’re arrested?

How many times are you going to expect your child’s father to step up and keep her while you’re out protesting? At what point do you think he should become the RP?

Do you take annual leave to protest?

PlanDeRaccordement · 30/08/2021 16:23

Why can’t you protest without breaking the law and getting arrested?

I think more people would support XR if they could manage to protest by legal means and not endanger people or cause criminal damage.

Do you have a job where a criminal record won’t matter?

Report
Miniroofbox · 30/08/2021 16:23

Clearly @bamboocat 😁.

Op. Do you work in the NHS?

@TheQueef

Did they have a vegan meal option?

Yes! I have been very well fed and looked after in custody. A certain number of the police are on our side, and many who don't agree with ER still respect it

What are your thoughtfully considered solutions to combating climate change?

ER lost my support when protesters vandalised Trinity Lawn in Cambridge.

I will not support any organisation which destroys wildlife habitats. And expecially not one which is so two-faced and hypocritical.

@pinktable11 as others have asked the same question, I'll change mine.

What changes have you made to your lifestyle, to reduce your impact on the planet? Are there further changes you plan on making?

I can't get past the fact an eldery husband wasn't there when his wife passed away in a Bristol hospital because he was held up in traffic for hours because of protesters like you.

You lost any and all support that day.
