In A&E with abdominal pain, back pain, puking. It's busy here and I'm bored. AMA!

They're in surgery now. Ask the nurses when will they be doing rounds (sometimes they do it at lunchtime).

I'm surprised nurses let you shower with morphine in you lol. Did you do a stealth sneak into the bathroom?

Do you know what sort of ward you're on?

Yeah surgical. It was Oramorph so was ok to shower given my opiate tolerance.

Just saw two bloody amazing doctors.

What did the docs say?

Just had a minor surgical procedure, being discharged with some strong meds, outpatient follow up in jan with more tests (and large surgery) to come. Will update properly in about half hour once I fully come round from the sedative.

Ok now I'm pissed off and distraught. Someone just stole my tablet and earphones while I was on the loo. Visiting hours and nobody saw. Fucking brilliant.

Had minor surgery to examine common bile duct and check sphincter of Oddi. Found stria and distension and cleared some sludge. Big op going to be late jan or early feb. Waiting meds then can go home.

Any sign of your stolen tablet and earphones? I can't believe the audacity of someone to steal from a patient's bedside.

Just arrived home. Nope, looks like a visitor did a snatch and run, pretty brazen with so many nurses around. Pissed off and upset.

Some people are real toerags. What sort of git steals from someone in hospital. (Answer seems to be far too many)

Just had decent sleep. Woke a few times during the night but the Oxycodone has kept on top of the pain nicely (especially as I was told I can go to 15mg). This, coupled with lack of sleep over the weekend means I'm totally knackered and so can see my sleeping most of today.
