This was an interesting read. It seems IW has taken to channeling Katie Hopkins. I'm not going to try and pull it apart as there is so so much wrong with it...

"I’m sure most people who use the site are decent folk. They want nothing to do with the rabid mouth-frothing going on by so-called “feminists.”"

What is it with the 'folk'?

As for frothing, she's obviously never been on AIBU or she'd know Feminist Chat is the most calm, polite, cogent part of the site

I remember when Prick News used to be Pink News, and worth reading, back in the day. You could pop into a gay bar and pick up a copy from the stack just inside the front door.

Not any more. It's amazing (or possibly not amazing at all) how much Pink News now hate women.

One wonders who exactly is doing the frothing here... Hmm

I am not clicking on that link because prick news deserves no clicks at all.

She thought it was going to be all about prams and family matters? Because that’s what women who are mothers are supposed to concern themselves about? Rather than politics and Big Stuff?
What a narrow stereotype of what a woman is.

What a tiresome but ever-bloody-present person India is.

India is quite a late member of the group who have been claiming the same for some time...

I'm hoping that perhaps India's views will "peak trans" even more people. I'm idly wondering if what IW is libellous in any way?

How original. Women who don't agree with your belief system are frothing.

I admit – I wasn’t convinced about self ID myself to begin with, but the evidence from around the world is irrefutable. I was categorically wrong, and fell for the hysteria.

In other news, you didn't like being the bad guy so you turned tail and blamed others for your 'truscum' opinions.

I have to wonder how happy the trans community generally are with India as self-elected spokesperson?

Never any mention of non-binary, gender-fluid or transmen and the difficulties that they may face.

It is all about men who identify as women and how women should be accommodating them. Every time. Never a deviation from that path.

libellous

Certainly hate speech. Surely comparing any group to Nazis, unless they're actual Nazis, counts as hate speech.

Lisa Muggeridge on twitter:

Yes. Women discussing the alignment of safeguarding, gender recogniton and equality frameworks are worse than nazis. Of course.

This is the conversation playing out on mumsnet.

What possible reason could anyone have to fear or be hounded by this?

NOT having this conversation in an honest, responsible way will contribute to fear and suspicion far, far more than having it.

LOL. It's all getting rather ridiculous now isn't it?

I can't get wound up by this, they are ramping up the rhetoric because they know they have now cogent arguments except feelings.

Bring it on

@Skatingfastonthinice Yup, and it's this TRA definition of "woman" as a collection of stereotypes instead of a full human who happen to be female that is why I've become gender critical. I defy most feminine stereotypes: still a woman.

Yep. All they have is narcissistic rage. And the more people they turn it on, the more people they turn off.

In the way that my sister fits most of the stereotypes of a feminine female, and is a strong feminist. So much more than our accessories.

Last week was my first ever visit to Mumsnet. Honestly, I thought it was going to be lots of stuff about prams, or family-related matters. A sort of online This Morning minus Phil and Holly. The reality is more like a Nuremberg Rally. It’s very scary.

Women! Know your limits!

What is it with the 'folk'?

Trans cultists like to use inclusive words like "folk" and "siblings" instead of gendered terms such as "men and women" or "brothers and sisters" because not everybody identifies as a man or a woman. Don't get what's wrong with "people", though.
