Checking in! I'm also confused by Claud's living arrangements. She definitely had a key to Ken's house and was brought back there after the police questioned her about Audrey's £80000.

Half the cast live at the Platts many bedroomed spread.

They should have built a few more interiors when they expanded the set. It is a row of terraced houses after all, pop a few in round the corner.

I'd like that too @EachandEveryone but that will never happen - Corrie has a definite anti-uni / good education bias as no one who has ever gone to a good school or university ever does well. Any woman who is strong also seems to be brought down - whether it's jail or partner having an affair or being turned into a joke character etc. Actually it makes me angry typing this - don't know why I watch!

Sally was an ambitious woman from a modest background, why not have her as a successful mayor, driving change? Why destroy her?
I would love to see Amy go to university and have a great career. She's clearly a bright student, quick and savvy.

Anyone else finding the Audrey storyline really frustrating. She had a windfall payment from Archie but she had no money troubles before so she must've had some savings put away. She never mentions her house as collateral either.

Also Tracy is over 40 And pregnancy could be risky but this is never thought off. Plus the living arrangements are a bit odd. Space no space never seems to be a problem .

As pp said i cant believe Audrey wouldn't have very healthy savings. Also wouldn't she contact her insurance company about it rather than have to find the cash?

Or wouldn't she remortgage to cover the cost. That house will be well.paid off with loads of equity. Between that and her salon surely she'd have no problem getting the cash

Audrey's approach to Gary's suggestion that she has dry rot : oh dear, that's likely to be expensive, I'd better sell my half of the salon to Claudia without delay.

Any normal person's approach to the suggestion : get an expert in to confirm that's the issue and quote for dealing with it, check whether building insurance will cover it. If insurance doesn't cover it look into ways of raising the ££s - equity release/bank loan/other. Do sums and make a considered decision about the way forward.
