Jesus! Just caught up with last night’s episode. Carla seems to have forgotten that there are employment laws, which she can’t sidestep just because the roof is dodgy and she hates her business partner. With all the ire directed at her, they are clearly gearing up for another whodunnit. Why bother? The one they did with Tina was shit!

I don’t think anyone has ever said they like Michelle on these threads, everyone can see what a terrible ‘actress’ Kym doodad is. I wish they wouldn’t use these reality talent show has-beens.

Beth did say that. My husband had just walked in the room when she said it and he had a chuckle. My favourite Coronation Street line was a few years ago in the Rovers when Liz boasted about it having "an international clientele". Norris retorted "Polish labourers don't count."

Ohio Nick met her and then told Leanne she was his solicitor. He's now having to pull several concerned and worried faces as he now can't employ her in the barber's unless we have a 'hilarous' situation where she has to hide every time Leanne walks past.

I'd forgotten about the distinctive neck tattoo - weren't all the family shown the CCTV image? I'm sure Gail saw it to confirm that the woman wasn't the one that she'd seen Lewis with. So she just didn't recognize her at the barbers?

Is anyone able to explain please why Robert has so much beef with Carla? I know he thinks she is to blame for Michelle splitting up with him, but as far as I can see, that's a completely random explanation he has plucked out of the air. Have I missed something?

Carla slept with Robert (after a Casino night) which led to her break up with Nick. Carla was a bit concerned when Michelle got with Robert and they were so entwined so quickly as she felt it might be a rebound romance.

Very flimsy stuff. Since the new producre's storylines have started a lot of the street seem to have had personality transplants.

I agree with others who say it's all very dull. I've stopped watching, unless my uni age DC has it on when she is eating brunch.

It's definitely never come across that they don't like each other except for things like that where there's a fallout and then they get over it instantly. Was such a strange leap to assume Carla was poisoning Michelle against him and now he's walking around all menacing and nothing like himself.

I wonder if any of the longstanding actors have a say in what happens to their characters? Gail has turned into an idiot for one, and the storylines are bloody odstupid at the moment. I have stopped watching and only watch the classic episodes now.
