I'm a bit confused by some of the current living arrangements....
Who lives with Eileen?
Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

I wondered the same about nick. He can’t cut hair so surely he was supposedly to be the receptionist/front of house but then they got Gail so what does nick do?

ginghamstarfish · 13/03/2019 23:08

Well I have finally given up watching .... been so bad for ages now, so much dreadful acting, ridiculous plots and boring characters - but the main reason is Gemma - she makes me feel nauseated, always shouting and stuffing food in her gob. It's as if the writers think this makes the character cute or loveable - wtf?

PinkDaydreams · 14/03/2019 06:47

I missed the phone call to Rana. Was it Zeedan? Why would he call her?

bobstersmum · 14/03/2019 07:45

Last night I realised that Gail now just talks like a complete simpleton. Not like a grown up at all, not sure why her family aren't concerned!
I hope they don't put Robert with that Tyler's mum since she was touching him and simpering the other day, he can do far better than her!

InterdimensionalHoleOfPancakes · 14/03/2019 09:27

I don't think Robert would want a relationship with Tyler's mum but I wouldn't be surprised if they have a one night stand. Of course he will get her pregnant because in soapland it only ever takes one night

Clawdy · 14/03/2019 10:33

Many years ago DH was in a radio play recorded in Leeds, and Helen Worth was also in the play. She was in her late teens or early twenties, but was playing a little girl in the play, because she could do a very convincing child's voice!

woodhill · 14/03/2019 11:53

I agree about the timings.

Also who was looking after Ruby when ML was at the garage.

Couldn't she pay her way by cooking and looking after her dgf

woodhill · 14/03/2019 11:54

Dgc

SymphonyofShadows · 14/03/2019 16:00

Isn’t Mary helping out with Ruby?

woodhill · 14/03/2019 16:29

Yes true but still a silly story line with the garage. At least no clipboard Sophie

Walney · 14/03/2019 18:23

I am confused by Michelle. She forces Robert to break up against his wishes, but then gets angry because he won’t move away as they ‘can’t be near each other’, demands the restaurant and the flat. Her behaviour is just incredibly immature and irritating and just uncomfortable to watch. Then Robert is made out to the bad guy when he has done nothing wrong. She is up there as one of the worst characters and actresses (she just mopes and shouts).

CoolCarrie · 14/03/2019 23:34

I definitely think Robert is going to end up with Tyler’s mum.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 15/03/2019 12:50

I've always hated Michelle, can't find anything likeable about her

desperatehousewife21 · 15/03/2019 13:36

Same she’s irritating

Jenfur · 15/03/2019 15:47

Just caught up, definitely favouring watching classic Corrie at the moment! It was bizarre when Michelle decided that she was the brains behind the bistro - Robert's the chef and it was his first (right? My memory is shocking) so why wouldn't he get to keep it, especially since the break up is her choice. When Ryan mentioned Carla was with Michelle, why did Robert snap and decide that she's been poisoning her against him? Have they fallen out?

Like others said, don't know why Nick is constantly at the barbers since he does nothing (then again, what's his experience at the factory?). David and Nick both had to go to buy products meaning no appointments just days after opening. Couldn't Nick have gone to do the buying? Surely David couldve given him some knowledge before they opened so that Nick had a purpose.

thenightsky · 15/03/2019 16:40

Michelle made Steve sell the pub and give her half when the spilt up, despite the fact they'd only been married five minutes.

Now she wants the bloody bistro off Robert and they aren't even married at all. Did she say she wanted his flat too?

Money grabbing, nasty woman.

Walney · 15/03/2019 16:47

Yep, Michelle wanted Robert out of the flat as well as her having the Bistro, so ridiculous. She also wanted him to move away because they couldn't be around each other anymore, really dislike this character.

eddiemairswife · 15/03/2019 17:41

If the situation with Michelle's 'sons' happened in real life I doubt they would both end up living with one of the mothers. What happened with the family that brought up one of them?

thenightsky · 15/03/2019 19:53

How come I don't look like Carla? I've got pretty much the same leather jacket and my hair's the same length.

(considers reposting on Style & Beauty threads)

Doje · 15/03/2019 21:29

That's it, I'm officially done after tonight's episode. All that nonsense of setting up yet another whodunnit. The stupid Nick stuff, Robert's personality change, bloody Gary and Seb grumpy faces. Ridiculous.

Normally I can overlook the crap stuff as I enjoy the humour, but I've just cancelled my series link.

Looks for the Corrie flouncers corner

Redshoeblueshoe · 15/03/2019 21:41

I know this is really stupid, but it's pissing me right off. There is more building going on in Manchester, than anywhere else in Europe. I can only assume the writers either keep their eyes shut, or live in a different city.
So why can't See and Gary get building jobs ?

eddiemairswife · 15/03/2019 22:08

What happened to Michelle's wedding planning business? She had a pink box file full of ideas and contacts.

Honeyroar · 15/03/2019 22:08

Because they are fakes? What have we ever seen them build? They go up ladders and come back down again, or go to the cabin office and ring people.

TattyOldbit · 15/03/2019 23:05

Blimey, a week in soap opera is the equivalent to a couple of months at least in "real" time..

Redglitter · 16/03/2019 07:01

Did Michelle & her son's never make a claim against the hospital for mixing them up as babies Surely they'd all be entitled to a massive payout for a screw up like that
