Baby names

I'm looking for VERY unusual baby names (I think!)

So DS has a name that wasn't even on the ONS. It's completely unique (some may argue that it's a word and not a name!) BUT I've had the most positive reactions to it.

I'm looking for name suggestions for both genders that are along the same level as unusualness. It's important to me that it's easy to pronounce and easy to spell though.

I like the names -
Girls: Coral, Effy, Jovie, Lainie, Quinn
Boys: Atlas, Eden, Jesse, Percy

But none of them are the one!

I think I’m kind of after similar. I am pretty ok for a girls name (although nearly certain I’m having a boy!)

Others I have considered/am considering:
Saskia
Mara
Malin (pr Mor-Lin)

Rudy
Tait
Jonah

If you want 'very unusual' be aware of American naming trends. Quinn and Lainey are very common US names so give it 20 years and you'll see famous actresses and singers with these names the same age as your 20 year old daughter. Also, I know a couple of girls under 5 called Effie- it's relatively popular these days as an alternative to Ellie, Evie etc. Eden is also on the rise, more for girls though.
I love the name Percy.

I love Eden and Jesse! Not keen on Percy though (sorry for any Percy's out there!)
I also like Ace for a boy and Darcy/Darcie for a girl - although not that unusual.

@PetraRabbit that's why none of them are the one really - I'm aware they're all fairly used!

If you're looking for something actually unique, you might want to look here: www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2012/11/long-lost-rarities.html

Lots are not to my taste but I do like Aveza and Sabelina!

@ClaraMatilda, good find. But most of these names are soooo medieval that they sound incredibly yooneek, don’t they?!

I like Fredmund lol.

Some nice ones on here. It's an American website, but, at a glance, the names seem to me like they would also be very unusual here.

I always liked Kester for a boy, after reading in the Chalet School books that it's the Old English form of Christopher (EBD got this wrong, it's the Scottish form).
