What are your reasons for not wanting her to wear them?

DaanSaaf · 20/09/2018 18:53

Why not?

Mrskeats · 20/09/2018 18:54

Agreed. Too grown up.

£170? To look like a stripper? I don't think so!

I’d say far too high a heel.

SleepyMcEdie · 20/09/2018 18:55

Why not? They are shoes.

How does she have them to wear? Or do you mean you wont buy her them?

I see nothing wrong with these. DD is 12 and has similar ankle version.

They're far too high for a child. I'd not let my 11 year old wear anything like that, she'd break her neck.

My dd's ankles would prob go over and snap!

Oh no, too high a heel. Won’t be good for her feet!

I started wearing heels far too young. Ended up with hammertoes Sad

Although I’d never pay that much for boots unless they did the walking for me and gave me a foot rub while they were at it Grin

They are very adult, that can't be denied. What is she planning to wear with them?

Report
Fannybaws52 · 20/09/2018 18:57

There is nothing wrong with them. They aren't sexualized. Pick your battles. You may find they are so annoying and clunky she chooses not to wear them again.

If she doesn't already have them I wouldn't buy the I have a pair of Timberlake ankle boots with a heel and I can honestly day they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Obviously just my opinion.

Is she a goth? or a harry potter fan?

Report
AsAProfessionalFekko · 20/09/2018 18:57

Too high. She would look odd - assuming she is average 12 year old sized.

Nope. They are too high. What purpose would they have?

Ok they would be ok with leggings/leggings/jeans....but a bit too grown up for her age if she wanted to wear them with a mini skirt, short dress or hot pants

Too high for a 12 year old. Her bones are still growing and hardening and shouldn’t really be in heels. Plus, £170 for boots for a child who may outgrow them anytime?
