August That sounds nasty in your shoulders 
I always use a block for pigeon as well, I have tight hips so I wouldn't dare not. I approach that one with caution at all times!
Back to yoga today, I only did Adriene's yoga for when you are sick video, but managed the downward facing dog so was quite pleased. Still feeling a bit weak and tired but definitely on the mend, I even managed to drink a very weak decaf coffee with lactose free milk... rock on. 
Nice to be practicing again though, even in the gentlest way.
