From what I've read Kim its 1 competency based for each of the 3 competencies and 3 situational/judgement. Like for instance how would you ensure a decision was fair. If you goigle DWP work coach questions the link to glassdoor comes up. Ive decided to do mine tomorrow morning so will report back. What area are you going for?

KimW01 · 06/03/2021 21:30

Hi, I'm going for a Work Coach Role.

I understand it is two questions from the competencies.
I can't get on Glassdoor, I've never used it before and it wants me to enter a review or something before I can see any messages, not sure what to do to get round that. Do you know?

XiCi · 06/03/2021 21:46

Yes sorry I meant which area in the country.
All the question lists ive seen are 1 competency question and 1 judgement question for each area so 6 questions. My friend had hers last week and thats what she said as well. I just clicked off the review bit on glassdoor and it let me continue. Theres alot of info on there so would be worth trying to get on if you can.

Hi, XiCi,
I'm applying for a DWP Work Coach job in the Wirral and Merseyside area.
I still can't get access to Glassdoor, which is annoying, especially if there is information on this site advising what interview questions are.
Do you have any information on this please?
Thank you

Hi

I have just done my pre-recorded interview as a work coach with the DWP. I really struggled to find examples and I wont be surprised if I dont get through. Does anyone know the scoring system and how long to wait for feedback after your interview.

Louise2288 · 31/03/2021 19:47

Hi I did mu pre-recorded interview a while ago now. Passed and I'm on a reserve list. However, I have no idea what my score was, or where I am on the merit list or where I find this info out! :D

Hi
I'm applying for the roles in South East London. Past the first two hurdles, and they said they will contact me for a virtual interview shortly. Dreading it as I freeze in interviews, especially virtual ones. have lists of questions they were asking last year, but I understand they have changed, so now I am preparing answers and will try and customise them to the questions they may ask. Does anybody have a list of the current questions please? And if you had to bullet point the three behaviours/strengths, which ones would you prioritise? Thank you

How is everyone getting on ? I have been a WC for 8 months now and it is a cluster fuck in my opinion. Shambling disorganised chaos would love to hear other stories I’m in Bristol

Hello.😀I have applied for a DWP Work Coach job on Civil Service Jobs website.I booked a video call interview for next week. How does a video call work?Is it a call to your mobile phone or do you get sent an E -Mail with a link, similar to a Zoom meeting?I haven't been sent an E-Mail yet with a link. The interview will be with DWP Recruitment Team , to show my I.D. and do an interview.Any help most appreciated.Smile

Doorhandleghost · 09/07/2021 08:23

Microsoft teams - They will send you a Iink beforehand.

Katherine0312 · 09/07/2021 20:31

Hi.After three hours,I finally managed to download Microsoft Teams on my Laptop.I also have downloaded it,last night,On my mobile phone. So,am I likely to be sent an E-Mail link that I connect to my Microsoft teams account?Plus,I have been doing civil service interview practice tests on Civil Service Jobs website.I scored above average on first one, then just average on the second.I will carry them on over the weekend.I am very nervous.Should I have been sent the E-Mail link by now?The interview was booked last wed. and it will take place next wed.14th July at 2pm.Hopefully,they won't forget to either give me a call,or send me an E-Mail link.SmileSmile

Just bumping this thread to ask what the job is like? They are currently advertising for EO jobs at dwp and I'm interested!

Namechangerr1 · 08/10/2022 17:17

@MagnaQuestion do you know if the EO vacancies are definitely work coach roles? I can't find any info regarding the role itself ..

MagnaQuestion · 10/10/2022 08:10

No. I couldn't work out the job from the advert so was wondering if it was y stealth!
