Thread 2! Woolly Hugs. Chernobyl 2018 is HERE!!!

You find us busily setting up a new home for our wonderful project. Will be making a special cosy corner for Soupy's poor blind cat - recently blinded by fiesta and her very bright blanket kit

As has been since the first year, this has been an astonishing team effort, folk never fail to amaze. THANK YOU! x

Our first project thread is here.... That was the one where we frantically made SQUARES and some folk made whole blankets, there was a lot of gin and the word characterful was used a lot

On the last thread we reached the dizzying heights of 64/100 absolutely gorgeous finished blankets, so here's hoping this thread sees us through to target...

Ooooo, and this will be the thread where we share the Early Bird 2019 info if anyone has been inspired or just wants to get ahead!

Next to get ready to go will be for the Norfolk and Suffolk groups, their children arrive beginning and middle of June!

TBH, I just assumed there were beautiful blankets. I didn’t see them.

Mid Suffolk have 17 coming from June 17th and Norfolk have 10 from June 3rd

As an aside, a square that is predominantly turquoise with accents of whatever that dark turquoise is (empire?) and grass green is fine isn’t it?

Not all groups host every year, eg Portsmouth, Gloucester/Leeds, Swindon, Liverpool and we have this funny feeling next year if they are all back this project could well be hooooooooooge!
