You find us busily setting up a new home for our wonderful project. Will be making a special cosy corner for Soupy's poor blind cat - recently blinded by fiesta and her very bright blanket kit Gin

As has been since the first year, this has been an astonishing team effort, folk never fail to amaze. THANK YOU! x

Our first project thread is here.... That was the one where we frantically made SQUARES and some folk made whole blankets, there was a lot of gin and the word characterful was used a lot Grin

On the last thread we reached the dizzying heights of 64/100 absolutely gorgeous finished blankets, so here's hoping this thread sees us through to target...

Ooooo, and this will be the thread where we share the Early Bird 2019 info if anyone has been inspired or just wants to get ahead! Thanks

The photo is from last year, tis the wonderful group who came to Portsmouth.

Cracking on then Grin

Hope you find the gin carefully hidden under the wooliness in your utility room soon! Here's some to keep you going until then Gin

MadisonAvenue · 09/07/2018 10:32

I agree with Jux, you are both amazing!

I've got another 8" to go on my 2019 blanket, then it'll need a border.

KnottyAndPistey · 09/07/2018 11:23

Woolly - have a red card of doom and can only go tomorrow, it will be one of those I am sure, says 6 parcels!

Probably my Snugs in that heap then, along with some Xmas stockings !

MadisonAvenue · 09/07/2018 14:13

Won't be anything of mine unfortunately, I didn't get around to posting anything. We've been having a bit of a funny week or two in the MA house. Youngest failed his second driving test and split up with his girlfriend (all in the space of two hours!) and the oldest moved back from university, for good, so there was a mountain of belongings to scale, plus he was stressing about his final results which were late (but all good when he eventually got them - he got a 2:1 in History). My head's been all over the place!

Jux · 09/07/2018 16:37

Oh gosh, Madison, that sounds stressful. Well done to your DS for the 2:1, that's a fab result, and history is really really demanding (DD is awaiting A Level results to find out if she'll be doing History at Uni). It is such a horrid wait. I was lucky with mine, I was working at my Uni and my tutor sought me out early to tell me (secretly) my result!
