You may have heard the dreadfully sad news that diege's husband died suddenly in June. Mental ill health can be such a devastating illness. Bless his heart. Life has been very cruel to them. We send diege and their six children our love and are so sorry for their loss. Thanks

We are so glad that diege has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, we hope it may give whatever comfort it can to them all. There will be love crafted into every stitch. Diege's thread is here if you would like to post condolences

So we are now asking for help once again Sad Thanks

We need crocheters, knitters and donors (of funds or wool) Sincere thanks. Thanks

If you would like to be involved in any way, please post on this thread and PM us with your offers: crafting, donating, need wool, etc, we can help you with all of it.

Thank you so much Thanks

Our initials as follows
Mine : DW. His is J
Then the children...JW, SW, LW, (the girls), then the boys oddly the same - JW, SW, LW.

Thanks so much - I'm sure whatever the blanket looks like it will be amazing, and I'm so touched.
Many thanks, d x

So sad that another blanket is needed. Diege, we are thinking of you and sending our love.

I'm not sure about your top left orange

But then L-R it is the sublime 'pumpkin'

Debbie Bliss 'tangerine' that is the one that is being discontinued

What we have sent is the Debbie Bliss burnt orange

Thank you! FlowersStarStarStar

PeaceOfWildThings · 03/08/2016 10:34

So is it best to use up the Tangerine, or save it for next time?

KnottyAndPistey · 03/08/2016 11:40

As you like Peace - it will take a while for it all to go, its a useful colour for us. x

Will do a tree square knitted in a blue sublime.

CraftyPenguin · 03/08/2016 13:42

My extra wool came today, thank you Flowers

How many squares would you like per person? Should I used up the whole of the 2 balls I received it would that end up being too many squares? Sorry for all the questions 🙈

KnottyAndPistey · 03/08/2016 15:14

Thanks jester Thanks

penguin Up to you, if we had too many we do love to keep extras for other projects, nothing ever goes to waste. Thank you Thanks

You know, we say it a lot, but it is true, the blanket projects couldn't function without the support of our lovely donors, we value them equally with our lovely crafters, tis perfect teamwork, thank you.

Wool has arrived safely with your crafter, she will make something very beautiful from you both

Thanks Zhx3 Star

Glad it has arrived x

CraftyPenguin · 04/08/2016 11:03

Me again 🙈 When you say 6 inches do you mean side to side or diagonally? Thanks

PeaceOfWildThings · 04/08/2016 11:23

Side to side!

I've promised DH that I will sort out my latest yarn acquisitions so they are not in boxes and bags all over our bedroom.

My 'current projects' storage bag is now full!

Now to store away all the other lovely woolly treasure!

MrsHathaway · 04/08/2016 12:09

Side to side. So eight and a bit diagonally.

rubycon · 06/08/2016 09:56

my donated yarn of 2 balls of orange has arrived this morning. Many thanks to my lovely donor Flowers

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 07/08/2016 15:43

I felt like making a square for each of the family, so made 4 blue & orange ones for the boys & MrDiege plus 4 for the girls & Diege
Thinking of all of them, sending love & strength.

(If I do peskies next week this might be the first lot that is actually ready on time. We shall see! Wink)

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 07/08/2016 15:44

*4 two tone orange for girls

PeaceOfWildThings · 07/08/2016 17:57

Sounds good, Zing! Am still on peskies for one of my own uncompleted projects... Roughly 800 peskies in all, only another 300 to go!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 07/08/2016 20:54
