We have heard the dreadfully sad news that Chipmonkey's baby daughter died unexpectedly this week. Condolence thread is here Chipmonkey has said tonight that she would love to receive a MN blanket.

Because Knotty is snowed under a mountain of wool, I am taking on the coordination for this, so if you are a donor or a crafter needing a match - please PM me and I will match you up. I know there is an amazing army of donor, knitter and crochet stars, and I am hoping that you will feel able to help with this blanket too.

So if you feel that you can help, please PM me with your offers: crafting, donating, need wool, don't need wool, and I will sort it all out, and when you are ready to post, PM me for the address.

I will have to get back on the deadline...

But thank you in advance.

Oh God, what else did I include?

Marymaryalittlecontrary · 06/10/2011 22:41

I haven't contributed to an MN blanket before, but I would like to. I'm very hard up at the minute, so if possible would be very grateful for any wool that lovely MNers have donated to knit the square with, if that's ok?

Mary, PM Piste with your address, she'll match you up with a donor.

LeBOF · 06/10/2011 22:49

I think I've got some wool I can donate.

KnottyLocks · 06/10/2011 22:52

BOF, Thanks.

We're using Debbie Bliss Casmerino DK and Rowan Cashsoft DK to ensure the blanket can be washed and any shrinkage of wool will be the same.

A few of us have used Cucumberpatch here for wool. They send very quickly. If you have a look in their Yarn Bargains section, often they have colours in the range we use, at a discount price.

Marymaryalittlecontrary · 06/10/2011 23:04

I've sent you a PM Piste

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/10/2011 23:05

I can't knit to save my life, but would be more than happy to donate money/send wool to someone who can, if you would let me?

KnottyLocks · 06/10/2011 23:08

BIWI Smile

PM Piste, she'll match you up. Thanks.

KnottyLocks · 06/10/2011 23:11

If you would like wool sent to you, please PM Piste your address

If you would like to donate, please PM Piste

A ball of the wool we use costs around £5. It will make 2 or 3 squares.

mothmagnet · 06/10/2011 23:11
