Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

Envy at posh phones

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/05/2011 17:52

but if you take the cover off, its very smashed :(

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/05/2011 17:52

Am very excited about the relay now!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/05/2011 17:54

If you take the bloody cover off I reckon the whole thing will disintegrate! Blush

One day I'll get it fixed, but how will I cope?

When I dropped it last time it took 2 weeks to come home. Shock

alibubbles · 25/05/2011 17:59

Piste, I smashed mine last week, Apple did it in 5 minutes, same day in store and free of charge! The man on the market did DS after it was trodden on by a horse, £25 and 10 minutes.

I didn't want to use market man for mine as I thought it would invalidate warranty, I assumed Apple would be megabucks, especially for an iPhone 4, -made my day!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/05/2011 18:02

That is weird, because last time Blush the Apple store wanted to charge a fortune, and it wouldn't have been done instantly either, so DH sent it off somewhere....

weird...

KnottyLocks · 25/05/2011 18:03

Shut up with the phone talk Envy

KnottyLocks · 25/05/2011 18:04

Thanks.... PM received!

Squares will be posted tomorrow,( lavenderish, and smokey blue) and I have included my left over wool

KnottyLocks · 25/05/2011 21:31

Wizzler, have a sparkly gold star Smile

Thank you so much.

KnottyLocks · 25/05/2011 21:34

Been having a think...

Rinders' and Blondes' blankets both have to go up the A3. Seems more sensible to do one trip once Blondes' blanket is ready to go. Doesn't it?

KnottyLocks · 25/05/2011 21:35

Mind you, not often accused of being sensible.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/05/2011 21:57

Maybe Knotts, you should have a leetle lie down?
Smile

KnottyLocks · 26/05/2011 08:42

Off to work. See you all later.

MissPenteuth · 26/05/2011 08:59

Hi all, just a quick update on Edgar's blanket; it's been confirmed that the one at the recovery centre was the right one, and it's on its way to me today. Apparently it's not damaged although it 'might be a bit grubby' Hmm

Also, a reminder that if anyone needs petrol money for delivering the blankets, let me know. There's lots in the fund; I can send by Paypal/bank transfer/cheque in post as necessary.

purplepidjin · 26/05/2011 10:54

Yay!!! It's only taken 8 days to deliver one first class package Hmm

Are we going for compo, MissP? I've never done that before

purplepidjin · 26/05/2011 11:39

Five pretty pale pink and lilac squares just turned up in the post - thank you Whydo!

I know pidjin, I said the same thing. Only a week late Angry

No harm in trying for compensation; the gift bag is damaged and I've now got to post it on again or (more likely) deliver it by car. We could at least try to recoup those costs. I'm not the most assertive person in these matters Blush; would you like to give them a phone?

purplepidjin · 26/05/2011 13:32

I'll set DP on it - he is the master of cool calm and obviously outraged Grin

I've got your cheque but I won't cash it until I've spoken to them. They very least they can do is refund the amount, plus something for your time and hassle!

Please don't post it again, we'll do a relay down to Brighton from yours.
