Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

Thanks, MmeLindt. I'm not sure on finances but could use someone to ball up the tangles of wool in my bag if you'd like a job?

We've got two threads going to attract support. It's working - hurrah.

I'm running between the two and PMing like a headless chook.

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 22:10

Pidj, I'll have a glass of wine for you. [selfless]

purplepidjin · 11/05/2011 22:12

Alternativel pick a colour and find yourself a knitter/crocheter to send it to Grin (not me I'm drowning in it jumps for joy)

Pidj, did we decide which is the best online supplier of our wool?

I have people ready to buy and send on to makers.

Ta.

I can knit! Who needs knitting and what do I need to do?

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 22:30

MmeLindt BecauseI'mWorthIt

Are you both happy to buy and send wool on to makers? I have some that need wool.

Niecie · 11/05/2011 22:30

Hello again ladies.

Sorry we are having to do this again so soon but I am happy to do some more squares. I was going to do myself a cushion with all my left over bits (but still needing just one more ball thereby necessitating a trip to the wool shop.......Smile) but I probably have enough to make more squares too. Any anyway, my cushion can wait. How many do you reckon we each need to do?

Do I need to PM somebody or sign up elsewhere?

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 22:31

50ftQueenie, you're in, my lovely!

PM me please.

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 22:32

Niecie, I've stuck you on my list too. Smile Thank you. Can we say 2 or 3 squares?

MmeLindt · 11/05/2011 22:37

Would be glad to send wool to makers. PM me details of what and where.

And it will have to be wool that I can order online cause I am abroad.

Are there any pics of the finished blankets for Edgar and Rindercella?

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 22:44

MmeLindt, I have a maker for you. I'll PM you shortly.

KnottyLocks · 11/05/2011 23:12

Right, off to bed as I've got my 'proper' job tomorrow.

I will check my inbox for messages and will get back to you asap.

KnottyLocks · 12/05/2011 07:18

Pics of Edgar's blanket here

Edgar's quilt is still under construction: it's a big job and LOTM who is putting it together has been rather poorly lately, bless her. There are a few pics of some of the squares on Pidjin's page above.

Pidj is hooking away on Rinders blanket at the moment. When she gets time, no doubt she'll be uploading some pics .

Waves to Knotty
I would love to contribute to this but I am completely lacking in any skill at all. Is there anything indirectly I could do? I'm rubbish at anything crafty you see Sad

But you are all lovely. X

KnottyLocks · 12/05/2011 07:49

Piste, you could buy a ball of wool to send on to a knitter. PM me if you'd like to do that Smile

MmeLindt · 12/05/2011 08:14

Thanks, Knotty. Will do that today.

The Edgar blanket is fantastic. You lot are really wonderful.

KnottyLocks · 12/05/2011 08:19

Piste, we'll take your money. Thank you Grin

KnottyLocks · 12/05/2011 08:20

Off to work. See you later this afternoon.

Thank you all very very much. Smile

SlateFloor · 12/05/2011 20:08

Oh Knotty - the Edgar blanket looks wonderful! Thank you so much.

smokinaces · 12/05/2011 20:13

ok, I cant knit (well havent since I was 12!). But my mum could teach me. And I would love to do this, was there with Blondes today and would love to contribute to this.

Can I put my hand up?
