From X:

"Matt Rattley, a non-stipendiary biochemistry lecturer at Oxford's St Hilda’s College and part-time in the Department of Biochemistry, shared recent photos of himself wearing noticeable prosthetic breasts while teaching. Critics raise concerns about the impact on students, including young female GCSE and A-level tutees and women at the historic women’s college, with some academics like Professor Michael Biggs suggesting it could create a degrading environment or even amount to sexual harassment. Oxford University emphasizes maintaining professional standards and respect for students while fostering inclusivity, but declines to comment on individual cases. The situation highlights ongoing discussions over personal expression versus workplace expectations in education."

Of course it's sexual harassment. I'd go as far as to say it's assault - forcing women to participate in his fetish without their consent. Women and girls - he also tutors A level and GCSE students.

I am so sick of these men and their perversions being forced on us, and if we do not consent we're the bad guys. Just, no. Enough.

If you don't wish to engage with certain posters, then don't. It's a shame there's not a block function - it would certainly come in handy to avoid having to remember not to engage with the clearly mentally unwell.

Where's my irony meter when I need it?

My point is that, in the commercial sector there would be a consequence to this sort of nonsense - not least because people could vote with their feet - and the financial aspect would mean that it wasn't tolerated. Academia/the public sector doesn't operate in the same way, which is why these sort of men are far more prevalent there.

Exactly.

Totally agree. The beard is preposterous. It's like a regular beard up to a point and then it peters out into a poor attempt at growing his own chiffon scarf.

The beard acts to cover up the place where the fake breasts end and the real neck begins and thereby maintains the illusion that his breasts are real. Personally I think he should ditch the beard and go for a nice velvet choker. Much more classy.

Yes, men inappropriately sexualize breasts.

Yes, lots of us experience this when we are feeding our babies.

That’s also why this one is wearing a giant pair of fake boobs while teaching young women.

Yes, this.
How can anyone profess to be a feminist and not understand this.
But no. Let's leap to defend the fetishistic man.

Someone owning tits (whether theirs or a friend's) is not an emergency.

I've breastfed three kids, and the number of men who've treated me like shit because of it was very depressing. Apparently I was an 'exhibitionist' and 'making a show of myself' for owning tits they couldn't even see, but had been made aware of.

Women are constantly told they'hre provoking anger and sexual violence by showing even a hint of boob, but the breastfeeding was something else - the main emotion I encountered, was anger. It wasn't me sexualising my breasts, but I got the blane for their reaction.

Boobs are just boobs. They aren't inherently sexual and can (should!) not be stared at.

watches as this non-issue racks up many hundreds of times the comments as anything involving the Cornell rapists

See, if you'd posted this on the bras and prisons thread, it would have made perfect sense.

And you would have been speaking up for women for once, rather than a fetishistic man.

Anyway, I'm off to find the thread you must have started about the Cornell case. Or any feminist issue at all.

TPA has no interest in feminism. Even they and the child they claim to have are identifying out of being female. Allegedly, as Ian Hislop would say.

Christ on a bike he looks bloody ridiculous.
How can anyone defend this 🤔🫣

There is a post on X which indicates that the giant fake plastic boobs are not this man’s sole way of acting inappropriately in his job.
