"Matt Rattley, a non-stipendiary biochemistry lecturer at Oxford's St Hilda’s College and part-time in the Department of Biochemistry, shared recent photos of himself wearing noticeable prosthetic breasts while teaching. Critics raise concerns about the impact on students, including young female GCSE and A-level tutees and women at the historic women’s college, with some academics like Professor Michael Biggs suggesting it could create a degrading environment or even amount to sexual harassment. Oxford University emphasizes maintaining professional standards and respect for students while fostering inclusivity, but declines to comment on individual cases. The situation highlights ongoing discussions over personal expression versus workplace expectations in education."

Of course it's sexual harassment. I'd go as far as to say it's assault - forcing women to participate in his fetish without their consent. Women and girls - he also tutors A level and GCSE students.

I am so sick of these men and their perversions being forced on us, and if we do not consent we're the bad guys. Just, no. Enough.

Absolutely fucking ridiculous. Ridiculous. Shame on any grown-ass adult in a position of power who is tolerating this fucking nonsense…

A bit too revealing????

Christ's sake, you will find any excuse for these vile men won't you.

It's more I'm now interested what the story actually is because I'm sure there is one

But I don't go there so once again it's none of my business.

Sosorryaboutthis · Yesterday 15:48

This man is a pervert. I have no idea how this is allowed in public.

Because tradesmen wouldn't have a large enough audience?

Possibly or they wouldn’t have a young, impressionable, easily (?) duped audience?

NoisyMonster678 · Yesterday 15:49

Just brought up my bagel.

TwoLoonsAndASprout · Yesterday 15:49

This man was discussed on the “This Isn’t Working” podcast a while ago - Tanya de Grunwald with guest Mr Menno:

Those boobs would get in the way if you have to do anything other than sit at a desk or in front of a class.

Ilovegermany · Yesterday 15:51

I wish I could make that picture go away in my head. It’s worse than what I saw at the supermarket an hour ago. Just why?????? It wouldn’t even be appropriate for a real woman.

Gross.

I would have felt so uncomfortable being in the same room as this as a young uni student. 🤢😡
Age i am now I'd just walk out.

How is he allowed teach like this? 😡

Ilovegermany · Yesterday 15:57

Strange I just wrote about the man in the supermarket on a new thread and it was deleted as it broke the guidelines but we are allowed to talk about this man with the fake boobs here.

This case reminds me of the Canadian teacher (Kayla Lemieux )teaching adolescent boys wearing huge prosthetic breasts down to the waist and a micro minI skirt (dont google it unless you have a strong stomach!) and Stephanie Mueller a Washington lawyer defending in court in similar garb..... both in proefessional settings looking like pornified pantomime dames.
The lack of a professional dress code seems bizzare. if a woman was wearing such attire it would have been deemed inappropriate ,i dont understand why a male wearing the same in a professional setting is ok.

It's also obviously a fetish / game because those boobs are not practical and would cause back ache. Some women go to the lengths of having breast reduction surgery when they are unreasonably large like that.

Most women don’t. Men like this do it “for show” like wearing skimpy pants and a crop top whilst taking part in a 10k race. The women are wearing proper running attire.

It was like the nurse who wanted recognition in the Guinness book of records for running the quickest marathon in a nurses uniform. They said that her every day uniform that she wears at her nursing job whilst being a nurse didn’t count, but that men who had done it in skimpy Carry On nurses uniforms did count.

Jeez

Would they be as equally accepting of an obvious women wearing a prosthetic fake erect penis to work? Things like this are being done to stretch the boundaries of everyone and normalise what should never ever be normal within a civilised society.

I shouldn’t, but I’m laughing.

What is a "non-stipendary" lecturer?

don't they get paid at Oxford?

The guy in Canada was so OTT I wondered if he was actually taking the piss out of trans activists by showing how ludicrous it was.

And this balding Oxford guy with the long beard and cleavage?

Ì think it means what we used to call teaching and sessional staff. Not faculty, on short term rolling contracts for specific courses on an hourly rate rather than salaried.

Whosthetabbynow · Yesterday 16:27

He’s doing it because he can. This is where we’ve arrived at with all the “woke” bollocks.

alcovecupboards · Yesterday 16:28

This is a great example of a thread where no-one has defended this man's behaviour, or 'celebrated it' - but there's a gang of posters working theirselves up in a fury about all the support he's apparently got. It's very weird.

Iheartmysmart · Yesterday 16:32

I manage to keep my 32J boobs professionally covered whilst at work and if I didn’t I would quite rightly be disciplined. Why on earth is this man allowed to parade around like this when it would be wholly unacceptable for a woman to do the same.

And most would have the door shut in their faces, because most people outside of Oxford Uni would not put up with this shit.

leparoo · Yesterday 16:35

A couple of strategically aimed safety pins needed..... Go on students, be stunning and brave.
