"Matt Rattley, a non-stipendiary biochemistry lecturer at Oxford's St Hilda’s College and part-time in the Department of Biochemistry, shared recent photos of himself wearing noticeable prosthetic breasts while teaching. Critics raise concerns about the impact on students, including young female GCSE and A-level tutees and women at the historic women’s college, with some academics like Professor Michael Biggs suggesting it could create a degrading environment or even amount to sexual harassment. Oxford University emphasizes maintaining professional standards and respect for students while fostering inclusivity, but declines to comment on individual cases. The situation highlights ongoing discussions over personal expression versus workplace expectations in education."

Of course it's sexual harassment. I'd go as far as to say it's assault - forcing women to participate in his fetish without their consent. Women and girls - he also tutors A level and GCSE students.

I am so sick of these men and their perversions being forced on us, and if we do not consent we're the bad guys. Just, no. Enough.

Someone owning tits (whether theirs or a friend's) is not an emergency.

I've breastfed three kids, and the number of men who've treated me like shit because of it was very depressing. Apparently I was an 'exhibitionist' and 'making a show of myself' for owning tits they couldn't even see, but had been made aware of.

Women are constantly told they'hre provoking anger and sexual violence by showing even a hint of boob, but the breastfeeding was something else - the main emotion I encountered, was anger. It wasn't me sexualising my breasts, but I got the blane for their reaction.

Boobs are just boobs. They aren't inherently sexual and can (should!) not be stared at.

Watches as TPA completely misses the point that the trampling of women’s boundaries by Mr Enormo-Boobs and by the Cornell rapists come from the same women-hating, misogynistic source.

TPA is far too busy pretzeling themselves to sully their mind with such fripperies as women's boundaries

Missed the point. Fake tits obviously strapped to a man are a fetish and shouldn't be out in public.

And stop weaponising the Cornell victim, it's despicable.

murasaki · Today 19:48

Every time I think TPA has hit the lowest low, they Mariana Trench it all over again.

TheywontletmehavethenameIwant · Today 19:50

I think the students should turn up with hats with big dicks sticking out of them, all of which could point at him when then bend their heads to do their work, maybe then the dickhead would get the message.

FlirtsWithRhinos · Today 20:00

This shouldn't need to be said but apparently does...

the reason the Cornell rape threads are shorter is because no one thank god has the fucking audacity to post in defence of the rapists!

Trust me, if sexist people regularly popped up on rape threads to argue why rape isn't the big deal Feminists think it is, those post counts would shoot to the stratosphere very quickly!

If a load of women did turn up in fake beards I wonder what would happen.

Women in beards and men in comedy breasts. It's like a telly programme 😂

Maybe Matt Ratley watched The Greatest Showman too many times as a youngun?

I'm pointing out how little this forum cares about actual.sexual.violemce, compared to complaining about trans people and pretending 'lecturer has boobs' matters.

I've been sexualised for having breasts my whole life (but especially during breastfeeding) and am angry about it.

This person wearing them and being sexualised, stared at and condemned for other people's reactions to them is really interesting to me.

They're not his in that he can take them off if he doesn't want to be called the massive fetishistic pervert he clearly is.

Women can't.

And women do care about sexual violence, that's why we don't want men, any of them, in our single sex spaces.

You keep weaponising individual cases. It is disgusting.

Really?
This board seeks to reduce harm to women by campaining to enshrine the provision of single sex spaces in law, and the recognition of women's right to speak with clarity about any horrific sexual assauts they've been the victim of, calls for change in systems that currently prevent women who have been the victims of sexual assualt from speaking with clarity...and more, much more.

Yet, you think the board should spend more time talking not about preventative measures but restrict itself to lamenting on the many thousands, millions of women who day by day are assaulted, demeaned and more?

Are you so blinded that you cannot see?

This person is a man and what he's wearing is a ginormous plastic pair of tit's, and he's being condemned for wearing a ginormous plastic pair of tit's.

How do you not get it.

Why do you believe the lecturer is wearing large prosthetic breasts to work?

Every time I think TPA has hit the lowest low, they Mariana Trench it all over again.

I think the problem is all those who reply to this obvious disrupters.

It only encourages them, who else but a TRA would have the arrogance to keep turning up on a forum that is by and for women to discuss women's sex based rights.

In replying it drags every thread back to issues that aren't up for discussion.

Anyone who wants to discuss with be kind feminists should be on Feminist Chat. It was set up on request by those who want to be kind and facilitated by MN.

So as that option for those who want to be kind to those who think you can change sex, to try and colonise an online forum for those who want to promote sex based rights feminism is little more than anti woman arrogance.

Every thread on FWR is now groundhog day. In replying it concede they have a right to do this.

This means that basically 2 or 3 posters (or maybe the same person) are controlling FWR and stopping it from developing.

(IMO MN needs a gender ideology thread not badged as feminists then all these disrupters will have their own forum and anyone who wants to discuss issues around gender identity can go there, and stop squeezing women rights out of FWR.)

Yes, but they won't go there, it'll be like the open swimming race and the mixed sex toilets all over again. Colonising is the name of the game.

“I’d be changing supplier” made me laugh 😂😂

My point is that, in the commercial sector there would be a consequence to this sort of nonsense - not least because people could vote with their feet - and the financial aspect would mean that it wasn't tolerated. Academia/the public sector doesn't operate in the same way, which is why these sort of men are far more prevalent there.

Why do you keep posting things like this? You wish to silence women who don't share your extreme views. Outrageous!

SidewaysOtter · Today 21:52

You are really missing the point that fetishes and paraphilias are known to escalate. Eroding boundaries is just the start of it, as is the normalising of it for others who go on to offend. It's YOU, TPA, that doesn't care about sexual violence because you seem to refuse to acknowledge the insidious and harmful nature of this sort of thing.

I think @IwantToRetire is just invoking the #nodebate tactics so beloved of the genderwang. To be fair, she didn’t issue rape threats, death threats or threats of violence like they do so I think she’s being quite reasonable don’t you?

ToastSafeFromMothsAndDogs · Today 22:00

Yes, men inappropriately sexualize breasts.

Yes, lots of us experience this when we are feeding our babies.

That’s also why this one is wearing a giant pair of fake boobs while teaching young women.

100% agree, which, everyone here will know, is unusual for me! 😉

FWR has turned into a bicker-fest, and I am not convinced that MN is not pushing AI responses to bump up business.

Let's not feed the AI beast, people!

If you don't wish to engage with certain posters, then don't. It's a shame there's not a block function - it would certainly come in handy to avoid having to remember not to engage with the clearly mentally unwell.

True, but then how would we all see your erudite and coherent posts and your elegant and well thought out arguments…. Think of the joy you spread to all of us by sharing your great knowledge….
