Well, this is odd: a strange blog from Nick Wallis, written almost entirely by a "transsexual" (self-termed) person called Louise.

I wouldn't even know where to start to respond to such hyperbole, but the comments by Jennifer Gourley, in the Comments section, say pretty much everything I could think of.

One small quote from "Louise" (it's a pseudonym) sums it up:

"So you see we’re the little guy in the middle being shot at by both sides. The sacrificial lamb in somebody else’s war."

The "little guy" would be transsexuals. Or something.

I love the last sentence of the Urban dictionary definition:

Is this a variation on the phenomenon that Róisín Michaux has highlighted as one of the driving forces of trans ideology being railroaded thru society, the one where so many "third gender" highly effeminate men from developing nations have ended up in the sex trade in the West, ostensibly alpha heterosexual men seek them out specifically to fulfill their needs, and guess what, they return to their wives/GFs/mistresses.
So, on the one hand you have heterosexual (?) men seeking out post-op transsexuals, and on the other, heterosexual (?) men seeking out the most effeminate and at risk men in the sex trade.
And still it's the sane majority who have no truck with any of this that are derided as reactionary and bigoted?

According to what i read it is not common in homosexual men, to be sexually aroused by a “Sheman” that is the phrase used.

What came to my mind was that a poster on a thread who claimed he lived as a woman for many years and had a male partner. He was very resistant to the idea that he was in a homosexual relationship.

He was as i now understand it, with a GAMP.

So a male who is very happy to love and be sexually attached to a TIM, affirms them to meet his own desires, not for a woman, but a TIM.

Sometimes I have to do a little picture in my head to try to understand it all...and then I wish I hadn't.

I'm totally onboard with the idea that porn and the sex trade are driving a lot of this. I even have some fleeting sympathy for men. As Jo Bartosch says, those porn sites are experts at hitting the brain's reward pathways and then leading men on to more and more extreme behaviours.

Years ago DH and I watched something about Thai brides where one manly man, lets call him Pete, was in a marriage with a post op transexual.

We were a bit agog at the time. It now makes sense.

There is no limits to male sexual proclivities.

Maybe it's a reason why I'm almost evangelically against all this is because as a male who traversed the dark side and actively pulled away, I'm very aware of these impulses. Not specifically trans, just the general non productiveness of the adult scene. Some of the best decisions I ever made in life included ditching certain male friends and turning my back on very simple pleasures.

That's why everything is such an uphill battle. So many men just refuse to see what is blindingly obvious. They are allowing themselves to be led by their sexual desires to the exclusion of everything that is worthwhile in life.

my DH has always said that all men are potential rapists it is just a matter of self control.

Another memory i have is an article in i think the guardian, written by a lesbian woman taking testosterone who described it changed and ramped up her sexual desires.

her partner loved her masculinisation, and her more hairy body. I dunno what that was pointing to.
