Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

The sacrificial lamb: Transsexual "Louise" blames transgenders and GCs for everything. Oh, and also the Government. And the NHS. And gender clinics. And GRCs. And possibly my dog.

Well, this is odd: a strange blog from Nick Wallis, written almost entirely by a "transsexual" (self-termed) person called Louise.

I wouldn't even know where to start to respond to such hyperbole, but the comments by Jennifer Gourley, in the Comments section, say pretty much everything I could think of.

One small quote from "Louise" (it's a pseudonym) sums it up:

"So you see we’re the little guy in the middle being shot at by both sides. The sacrificial lamb in somebody else’s war."

The "little guy" would be transsexuals. Or something.

A transsexual writes…

Over the past couple of years I’ve been corresponding with a couple of older male transsexuals. They are courteous types who have watched in horror at what they see as the politicisation of t…

The post from the gender clinician was incredibly upsetting. Real harm has been taking place

Mostly and increasingly, it seems, to girls and young women.

I was particularly bothered by the bit describing conversations with 18 year olds who'd been on blockers as like talking to 13 year olds. This really needs to be looked at seriously.

'A search of the literature found a total of 16 studies that have specifically looked at the impact of puberty blockers on cognitive function. Most of these studies (11) had been conducted in animals. These studies found that puberty blockers interfered with cognitive development in the animals and that male and female animals reacted differently to the drugs. Only five studies have specifically looked at the impact of puberty blockers on cognitive development in young people. Two of these studies looked at the effects in children with precocious puberty and three looked at the effects in children who had been prescribed puberty blockers for gender dysphoria. Of these five studies, three reported lower IQs in patients treated with puberty blockers, with 2 reporting a drop in IQ in some patients following the administration of the drug, and 1 a lower IQ compared with controls.'

'At present, we just don’t know the impact of puberty blockers on this critical stage of neurodevelopment and subsequent lifelong brain function in adulthood. The ‘windows of opportunity’ model indicates that rather than a whole system pause, some parts of brain development may continue regardless, but without the expected hormonal regulation the process may well be disrupted. One theory of why pruning is so prolific in adolescence is that maintaining redundant connections between the brain cells uses nutrients which may be needed elsewhere in the body during growth and sexual maturation. If sexual maturation is artificially ‘blocked’ what happens to this vital pruning process? The answer is that we just don’t know. '

The Teenage Brain - Transgender Trend

The teenage brain works differently to the brains of children and adults. How do puberty blockers affect the developing adolescent brain?

Some of the children who had their adolescent pubertal blocking very publicly documented still seem quite childish even in their late twenties.

Blocking of puberty makes no logical sense at all, except for the most grotesque aims.

Who would want children to be made permanently child like?

Beowulfa · 17/09/2026 11:01

I remember learning at school in what's now called Year 8 that adolescence wasn't just about sexual maturity, but about your brain having a growth spurt too. Second only to the huge difference in development from a baby to a child starting school. The teacher explained that emotional swings are not just hormone surges, but you learning to use you brain at its adult capacity.

When I first heard about puberty blockers I couldn't understand how a drug could prevent physical growth, but magically not impact the related intellectual development at all.

Jesus

Jesus, indeed! Given that "Louise" sees himself as, "The sacrificial lamb in somebody else’s war." The holy cult of trans.

(Sheep are a go-to in animals for testing puberty blockers.)

Who would want people who have become adult in age, so state-recognised, but with child-like bodies and child-like levels of reasoning, self-regulation, etc?

'Tis a puzzle.

It's funny isn't it.

Someone else's war.

Coming in and sabotaging women's rights and dignities undercover just means you did it under stealth not by consent. Women kicking back because they've realised this, isn't someone elses war. It's women's war against intruders, colonisers and interlopers of all male kinds. It's not a sodding culture war.

Just because you aren't allies to the other trans identifying males doesn't mean you weren't attacking women's spaces. You don't get to abdicate responsibility and say you are somehow hard done by this.

Because you are still men.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 17/09/2026 11:13

I view people who advocate for the castration of boys and the sterilisation of girls with horror and extreme suspicion (duh)

some people derive satisfaction from having power over others

what an expression of power sterilising another person is

i strongly suspect some of the people in this space have this motivation

AimsAndObjectives · 17/09/2026 11:15

I read an article where someone explained that dropping some IQ points if a child already has a below average IQ is life-altering. It can change a child from someone who would grow up able to live reasonably independently, have a job, go on holiday with friends to someone who will need lifelong supervision and assistance.

It just goes to show when war breaks out there's no neutral ground, if you don't pick a side one will be picked for you, and you're not going to like it, not one little bit.

Let's not forget Susie Green and another woman having a good old laugh at the fact her son hadn't gone through puberty so only a limited cavity could be created.

Amazing how Susie was feted for so long. I mean, you admit to taking your son to Thailand to be genitally mutilated, and, <checks notes> you get invited to more and more talks and positions of influence/policy platforms.
If we ever truly get out of this hole, peoples in the future will huddle around to ask how did a mother who abused her son get so much airtime and influence on the culture?

And it is a war. Like all wars, women and children in the front one, more than just collateral damage. Men seemingly spared the worst of it.
Maybe if men had been the primary victims of this, the phenomenon wouldn't have developed the head of steam it did.

No maybe about it, if it were something that was causing men, and not the ones who claim they're women, it would have been sorted ages ago.

What amazes me is that TV producers and doctors and all sorts of people must have seen that clip of Susie Green literally admitting her son never went though puberty because she gave him blockers from age 12, while in every single interview at the time she was still claiming that blockers are 'a harmless pause button'.

Anyone with a bit of intellectual curiosity would surely stop and think, 'hang on. If they stopped his genitals from growing, could they have stopped any of the other important parts of puberty from happening?'

How can so many people be so blasé about this?

The Be Kind mantra has literally dissolved people's brains and their ability to come to moral judgements, and central to this outcome, argue for wisdom and common sense.
Be Kind and Don't Judge look great on paper, how many minorities were we unkind to and overtly judged in the past? From gays, to non whites, to single mums, to the disabled etc.
But these new mantras are untethered, don't have any moral centre, so now we have Western peoples atoning for the past by absolutely being kind with no limits, not judging from a perspective that has no grounded centre.
And that means unlimited kindness and non judgementalism comes at a massive price as the roadkill of women's rights and kids' mental and physical well-being are secondary to this post Christian ethos, weaponised by those prevailing and projecting kindness and not judging feeling so morally self satisfied.
Laser guided and armour plated virtue.

A couple of years ago Jackie Green (Susie Green's son) posted a YouTube video and someone started a thread. Iirc he was doing a talk along to his mother's TEDtalk about what she did to him. I could be misremembering. He was very childish and superficial. I didn't see much. I felt deeply uncomfortable watching any of it. I've not checked but I think it was quickly taken down. I don't know if he ever posted anything else. I hope he's living well and quietly. I think he's possibly in his 40s now so must have been 30-odd when the video was posted.

I agree. He had an online run in with Kellie J keen. She had said something about his mother, and he responded to her online. It was really quite disturbing iirc. He came across as totally teenage, along the lines of 'no, you are'.

it's a massive moral scandal that this isn't being investigated

"A big pile of shite, delivered through my feed through the most unsuspecting source, via a man who i respect dearly, so of course I’m going to give him a massive benefit of the doubt, knowing that man is our guy, Nick Wallis, is trying to do the right thing, to be balanced. I deeply respect Nick by the way, the man has helped me in a big way getting my own story noticed by potential publishers, though I’m way too early to be making any announcements. So what I say here is by far a critique of him."

I recall a time, when the mixed up people weren't thrust in our faces as the general population, when we over the years learnt to show sympathy where deserved, but their world didn't collide with ours, let alone that world gain dominance in public policy over ours, let alone the movers and shakers in our world saying our world had to totally change, indeed our world was in the wrong.
Douglas Murray put it perfectly. As an out and proud gay, he realized that the mainstream world had to be brought along to accept gay rights, a sledgehammer could never work, and absolutely not any shaming or obligating the mainstream population into acquiescence.
And as he's noted, decades of careful work paid off in gay rights now being objected to only by a very small hardcore.
But in the trans activist "worlds collide" and "we'll crush the dissenters any way we can" activist mindset, it's all backfired.
Thus whatever possible reasonable points Louise has, I might have been sympathetic to years ago if the trans campaigns had been reasonable, but now I think that...I don't give a shit.

KittyWilkinson · Yesterday 10:52

I didn't know anything about Ritchie until that link. That's a powerful piece of honest writing and I thank him for it.
He's very unimpressed with Louise whom he refers to as Dave
Given his own struggles, I think he's perfectly entitled to say what he has in the circumstances. At least one person standing up and saying not in my name.
