On 6 August 2026, BBC Three Counties local radio station, which covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, ran a half hour current affairs chat on the Jonathan Vernon-Smith Show. The midday item was posed as a question: “Do you think it’s right to tell transgender people which toilet to use?”

The first contributor put on air to talk about that question were Robin Moira White, a male barrister who claims to be a woman. Robin advocates for men to be able to use women’s toilets and does so himself. The next guest was Nora Padilla, a full-time policy officer at the campaign group TransActual, which also advocates for men to be able to use women’s toilets. Then we heard from “Michelle” from Watford. Like Robin, Michelle is a man who claims to be a woman and – surprise surprise – advocates for male use of female facilities....

And the story goes on. And gets more and more damning for the BBC. The useless, ridiculously activist, taxpayer-supported BBC... Still.

Apparently, they are Schrödinger’s men. Safe enough to be around TIM in mixed sex spaces, but totally unsafe to be around TIM in male spaces.

I very much doubt that Nick Wallis is making much money out of this. He is just following the story. If there wasn't so much to write about, he would write about something else.

The attempt to remove sex discrimnation from the Equality Act is quite newsworthy as are medical scandals.

Sharon Davies is an Olympian, her Damehood was in recognition for all that she's done for women's sport in this country. The fact that she's been campaigning to get males out of female sports is probably why it's taken the establishment so long to give her her gong.
She's worth every penny of the £400 a day at taxpayer's expense she's raking in.

I think we should go back to the old approach. Trans women use female spaces with the rampant entitlement we see today. You do your best to blend in and be pleasant, and you don’t ask and don’t tell. Simple.

I'm assuming you meant without the rampant entitlement because otherwise it makes no sense. And no, we can't put that genie back in the bottle, they brought the barriers down and invited everyone in the margins in, now we have to deal with all the problems that come with it.

It certainly tells you how much value they place on women's rights in the grand scheme of things doesn't it, that they should think it unlikely that people speaking up for women might actually genuinely think this matters?

Also, back then everyone accepted that "living as a woman" meant wearing a dress and simpering. It was obvious trans women weren't really men (because of the dresses and the simpering) so why would anyone object to them in the ladies bogs?
