I bought massive duvet clips. This lets me fasten the head end corners of the duvet to the duvet cover and then forget about them whilst I wrangle the rest.

I used to do that but then I watched a video of the burrito method - makes this chore into a topologically satisfying pleasure.

I usually get DD to put mine on. She's fitter than me 😆

Folding fitted sheets into a tidy square is my superpower; I can do it straight off the line on a breezy day.

We’ve been sleeping with just the duvet cover. In the middle of the night I was actually cold (!) and plonked a naked duvet on top. I know I went on about folding to music but I was not attempting any orchestral maneuverers in the dark.

I've never had a spinny frock or a twirly skirt and beginning to feel as though life has passed me by. I know people say 'It's never too late' but in my heart of hearts I know it definitely is.

I have a skirt that is capable of being spinny, but the wearer's not due to an inner ear thing. So it has never really fulfilled its true potential. I am both privileged and oppressed. As is my skirt.

Yes you should and then you could buy a skirt with a rechargeable battery that drives the billowing skirt around your waist while you serenely drink a cup of tea and graciously accept the inevitable applause.
