Why do you want to nuke the UK ?

I keep reading from Americans that they want to nuke and invade us.

??? Crazy US-UK things going on.

I woke up this morning to an American social media personality, Valentina Gomez, whose bio starts with "I follow Jesus Christ" declaring with zero evidence that the child thrown into the crocodile enclosure in the UK was thrown by a Muslim. Her words exactly:
A muslim threw a 3-year old child into a pit full of crocodiles.

Who is this helping?

As far as I'm aware there is absolutely zero evidence to support this.

This woman is often invited to Tommy Robinson events so she'll be followed by that crowd.

So now some British people will wake up, see that, and genuinely believe a Muslim fed a child to crocodiles.

There are real integration issues in this country. I have just finished reading about a Pakistani gang member who called in 20 of his mates to hack a tree surgeon's hand off, for instance. Stabbings are surging all over London and inner cities with black people disproportionately perpetrating and being victim. We clearly have integration issues.
That's all worth talking about. But that's not going to go well when we've got Robinson and Americans screaming "Muslims did it" about everything.

The grooming gang was made up of predominately Pakistani Muslims but was Islam driving force? I'm not sold. There are similar Sikh gangs operating in Canada, there was the Sicilian Catholic mafia in America. Was Catholicism behind them turning New York into a blood bath?

I think it's more likely that these are ethnic and clan dynamics of people who have failed to integrate for reasons that need exploring.

If anyone is interested I can't across a piece written by a British Asian guy, Sharjeel Ashraf, specifically on South Asian non-integration. He says theres basically a problem that runs all across the south Asian community and they are clannish, stick to in-group hiring, organised crime, lots of hostility to Britain, etc, regardless of religion. I'll add the link.

From where I stand it looks like Tommy Robinson has basically exported a narrative to American audiences that we're mid-civil-war with Muslims and some of them are running with it and its creating a hysterical feedback loop.

I don't feel like I'm in a civil war. I don't feel terrified when I see a woman in hijab. Mother Mary covered her hair.
Isn't Robinson always banging on about everyone becoming Christian again? Next time you see a hijab Robinson, that's how Mother Mary would've covered.

No group is without its baggage. It seems ours includes having given the world OnlyFans. Pakistan has given us grooming gangs. According to the Internet that has to mean every Pakistani is a rapist and every British woman is a wh#re.

Can we not have sensible conversations anymore that actually protect people so tree surgeons don't get hacked up by gangs, there aren't teens roaming around with knives in their pants, girls don't get raped by grooming networks and women don't get their head coverings ripped off in the street.

I thought I lived in Britain!

Sikhing the Truth

Problems in the South Asian community are not limited to Mirpuris

I agree with you about the problem of misinformation on social media. But I think a lot of the time it’s fuelled by the authorities being dishonest, like Sophie of Dundee where the police basically lied about what happened and Humza Yusaf decided to fan the flames further. And don’t get me started on BBC Verify.

This is how Tommy Robinson, Lotus Eaters, Rupert Lowe, Farage to some extent and a whole host of influencers around the world can come across as the fearless truth tellers.

Yes, because those who should be telling the truth, BBC and the rest of the msm, are too busy minimising, denying and deflecting on anything that doesn't suit their agenda. This is why so many people no longer trust them.

Ereshkigalangcleg · Today 10:26

Yes, this.

Ereshkigalangcleg · Today 10:31

And then when the BBC was exposed as having pushed the trans agenda and lied about Trump, you had all these people on the left, including on here, saying “who cares, why are we wasting time on this”. Because if it matters that people you don’t agree with are lying to push their agenda, it matters that people you agree with are lying to push theirs. It’s not a good situation when no one can trust anyone to tell the truth. It’s not difficult.

Why can't we acknowledge we are a Christian country. There are many Islamic countries in the world. Some of them are persecuting Christians right now.

Because only a minority of people follows that middle Eastern import.

What lies about Trump?

Feel free to google, Polly.

I’d welcome your thoughts on the actual salient point about misinformation from all sides though.

Yes, there is misinformation from all sides. The BBC should be able to rise above this and not just be pushing a liberal-left, pro-multiculturalism, pro-immigration agenda. They have lost credibility by doing this and enabled people on the right and the far right to fill the void.

PollyNomial · Today 11:05

I can only think of the panorama introduction edit which is guilty of not making it clear what a rambling speech he gave that day and nothing more.

Anything else that makes you think the BBC doesn't give sufficient veneration to that racist, sex abuser?
