What is in the water this week?! Glinner now making a mockery of the cause

I know I know I should just get off twitter but this week is just back to back GC news and not in a good way.

If you haven't seen, Glinner posted a video mocking Green Leader Zack Polanski, understandable plenty of material for a comedy writer there, but the video is so unhinged and unfunny.

Some speculating Graham was drunk when he made it but it's been 24 hours and he's left it up so maybe not.

I feel like we are finally gaining real ground in this fight and this makes GCs look like a bunch of lunatics.

I know there is no formal hierarchy but like it or not, for better and worse, we do have public faces and 'spokespeople' for this fight and this is just embarrassing.

I just feel so helpless because there can't be any accountability for this kind of thing but my God.

You know how that could be solved? By the left stepping up, stepping back from their misogynistic ways and realising women have rights too. At the moment, people are turning away from the left because of this issue. It’s one of the reasons Trump won. All the democrats had to do was stop the gender bullshit and they’d have been a shoo in.

I say get off twitter and don't look so much to public figureheads. Celeb tittle tattle is not very edifying.

I agree, the whole thing has obviously impacted on his mental health. Which is totally understandable given the absolute wringer he was put through.

They are a charity....not celebrities with a personal following.

Humans are tribal. We may not like it, but it is hard to get away from. So if someone adopts a GC stance and is thrown out of the “left tribe”, they find themselves homeless and lonely. So if the “far right” tribe start being sympathetic, it is likely they will be lured in that direction and adopt other far right ideas.

that is why is is so important to keep a “big tent” approach to many political issues and not shun those who disagree on one issue. It just turns friends into enemies.

And also why you/we should get off social media and don't rely on it for y/our political education,.

Have you spoken up and worked towards getting the government and organisations to make changes? How would you have had any depth of information to draw on to do that without those feminists you have disparaged and insulted?

And I am not quite understanding how feminists have made a mess of it?
