Younger generations being pro trans

I know many are saying the trans debate is over, but I think it has only just begun. And the reason is the younger generation. Studies show young people are the most supportive of transwomen going into women's spaces amongst all groups. In 20 years, these people will be in positions of power making decisions where they can enact their beliefs.

Also most of the western world has fallen to trans ideology (which activists will use as credibility for their ideology). I don't buy the argument that as long as it is just in EU/Australia/CA/ NZ then it is contained.

Having the laws on our side and sex matters fighting is great, but it feels like little consolation if we have to spend the next 50 years constantly in a court room suing organisations as they continue to to flaunt the law. It is like wack a mole, you stop one stop one organisation from doing it whilst another one pops up.

Anti- trans feminism board? Is there a new board? Link please

'anti-trans' is a way for far right incels to say we're 'anti men'. They know they cannot say anti men, without looking like neanderthals. So they have found a loophole. 'anti-trans'. They can be misogynist chauvinist pigs with a veneer of respectability.

The sad thing for men like him is that he and his fellow MRAs are out of touch with the real world. Poll after poll after poll shows that as each year passes, the 'trans rights' (read: Mens rights) lose more and more favour with the public the more his fellow men piss in public on feminist statues and smash windows and throw punches at the eye sockets of 72 year old women. They are losing the war and are becoming increasingly desperate and erratic. Feminists are winning the day, and those like him have to resort to..... relieving themselves to Andrew Tate videos. And trying to relive their glory days.

DD and her friends don’t support trans/gender ideology. They are 23. HTH

@ThatBlackCat; sorry I was being sarky with the 'anti trans' thing! 😃but I totally agree with you. Yet another swipe at women.

I recently bumped into the trans pupil from my DS’s year at school , they are now early 20s and no longer identifying as female, more gender neutral/goth. School had not made a huge song and dance about gender. They put in place safeguarding policies and maintained single sex spaces. By not involving parents the children were mainly accepting and just got on with it. The individual was not a trans gender activist, just mixed with the girls more than the boys.

The year didn’t judge and talking to DS who is very emotionally intelligent I think hat they just realised that the trans pupil was struggling with mental health in the same way others were. There were no huge debates or disagreements . I think because most of them had known them when they were identifying as male they didn’t see them any differently when they decided to identify as a girl. In fact they admired their bravery in turning up for prom in a lovely prom dress. But at no point did it influence their GC views. They just learned that tolerance was preferable and that it encouraged tolerance in other ways.

Maybe because there was no insistence on use of single sex spaces by the pupil or there family or that GC views would not be discouraged it didn’t really cause the problems that were anticipated.

It was good preparation for the outside world. When people don’t make a fuss it sort of takes the wind out of the sails of activists.

Sorry, I see Helleofabore has already posted this very useful thread.
Worth repeating, though!

And I do wonder how much the results of surveys may be skewed by people mistakenly thinking that ‘transgender women’ or ‘transwomen’ means women who identify as men.
The real number supporting women’s single-sex rights may be even higher than it appears.
