Transgender hate on mum's net

1000 replies

Steph2002 · 08/04/2026 13:30

I'm just wondering, I see so much hate on here about transgender woman and not a lot about transgender men. Does everyone on mum's net hate Transgender women and if so why? I don't mind sharing a toilet space with a transgender woman in fact my best friend is a transgender woman and she is the nicest person you could ever wish to meet and will protect any woman no matter where they are. I would hate to be sharing a toilet with a hairy masculine transgender man, which seems the way people want to go why? Am I the only person on here that supports trans gender women, if so I need to leave. How many people that hate Transgender women have actually met one and had issues with one I'd love to know.

I couldn't remember the term for DSD as I was typing to be honest. But where are your sources for the DSD thing? I'm yet to see any objective evidence that Khelif is anything other than a not very feminine looking woman.

I posted up thread a link to him confirming he has the SRY gene.

The transgender Reddit is also full of men experiencing euphoria boners when entering women’s spaces, stealth raping straight men, often coming out as trans when their wife suddenly has a baby and can’t leave, AGP behaviour to the extreme…

once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Exactly, part of the fun for them is violating women’s boundaries and making us feel uncomfortable - it’s a power play.

And the handmaidens that cheer them on don’t seem to realise they are part of a sexual fetish.

Strangedayz · 08/04/2026 14:33

Steph - you still around?

Do you have enough material for your ‘hateful bitches of mumsnet’ thread on Reddit yet?

Steph won't be back. They never are, bar the persistent ones like the charming man who threatened women with rape with a splintered rolling pin. How he's allowed to continue to post baffles me.

I am constantly shocked by how much trans hate there is here. I know some gorgeous trans men and women. Sadly I avoid the debates here as they are always aggressive. I am with you.

What has the fact they're gorgeous got to do with anything? Why is it hateful that women want to retain their single sex spaces for reasons of safety and privacy?

So the pretty ones get to do what they like? What about the ugly/non-passing ones? Very transphobic of you.

Well according to JK Rowling and many on this site I guess not given how quick everyone was to assume Imane Khelif was a trans-woman without any evidence at all other than... well her being tall and not wearing makeup.

No one said Imane Khelif was a transwoman

There is a bit of hate on here, I agree - the comments often go too far. But I think it's because it's gone too far on both sides.

Many people are just fed up with being forced to say black is white and want to be able to honestly say the truth.

It's insane to have reality policed, and the policing of reality forces people to become more extreme. I used to be very moderate and very supportive until I got fed up with having 'trans women are women' shoved down my throat. (Trans women are legitimate in their own right. I know several through a hobby. They're great, lovely people and they're definitely happiest living as trans women. I'm pleased for them! Why shouldn't they wear exactly what they want. But they're not female, they are male people, and I'd be called a transphobe for this view, which honestly made me lose patience and sympathy. With the movement - not with them.)

Can you please quote the hate and the comments which have gone too far?

I have never seen any.

It always boils down to the most misogynistic, regressive and stereotypical characteristics with the trans lobby.

My dress goes swish swish so I’m a pretty girl…

Why is the solution not for men to obey the law? And be held to account if they don’t?

Of course men should obey the law. But that's not the point - this is a question about the lived reality of the application of the law.

Under the old laws - bad man / rapist can pop on a dress, go in the women's changing rooms and say he identifies as female so is allowed.

We all agreed that was a bad vibe.

New law - same bad man doesn't bother to buy a dress, still goes in the changing rooms and says he was born female, knowing no one has the power to challenge him.

Of course the answer is we need to make the men follow the law. But if they are intent on not, I'm not convinced the current legal framework gives us any more protection than we had before against bad actors.

Taztoy · 08/04/2026 14:36

I’m not very gorgeous. Does this mean im not a woman? I’m also pretty hairy.

But we do have the power to challenge. That’s the point of not having self ID and a free for all and the reason the SC ruling is a good thing.

edit for spelling and to add. The old law was never what you are stating it as. That’s the point.

It doesn't matter how lovely and gorgeous they are, you can't change sex.

But that's no reason to do away with the law and let traswomen in, is it? So I'm not sure what you're getting at.

You're not the only one, I support them too. The nastiness around trans people on here is off the scale though, some are relentless in their posting and seem to genuinely believe that they are 100% right to speak with such hate and that any one who disagrees in anti-women. The issue of trans men seems to be avoided as they don't fit the narrative on here of all trans people being perverts who only transition so they can get in women's spaces and abuse them.

Right, everyone always said he was a man. Which he is. And men who call themselves trans are just men too of course - so I suppose that's why misognystic trans activists (like the one you are replying to) get confused.

Quote the hate. Word for word. Reality is not hate.

Catwalking · 08/04/2026 14:40

The only 1 i know spends most of their time in the shop where they work, flirting with men who’re trying to browse. Can easily be loudly short tempered if i encounter them at the till especially if they find they’ve typed in an incorrect digit of my membership no. Fortunately I don’t have to visit that particular shop much in summer!

You should check out terfislur.com if you want to see real hate. I don't remember seeing any of the women on here issuing rape and death threats to transpeople, but plenty of transpeople wishing just that to us.

I'm sorry trans activists are so offended that women have rights. But its your problem.

PotatoLove · 08/04/2026 14:41

Trans "women" are not actually women and therefore should not be permitted in women's toilets, changing rooms, sports etc. It's not hate, just commonsense.

Gloriia · 08/04/2026 14:41

Steph2002 · 08/04/2026 13:41

A trans woman in my eyes is a woman, and a trans man is a man. Especially once they have had gender reassignment surgery.

But they arent. Identify as you like but the reality does not change.

As an aside i do wish they'd rename this unnecessary surgical procedure. 'Healthy body part mutilation' would seem more apt.

Edited

Sorry can't find it. Would be genuinely interested as I am a boxing fan and (of course) against men being allowed to compete against women. All I have seen so far is links to articles which link to articles which link to tweets and suspicion.

HOWEVER.

When JK Rowling posted her tweet, none of this had come out. She posted based on a picture of a not feminine looking person having won at sport, referring to them as a man. With no evidence.
