Transgender hate on mum's net

1000 replies

Steph2002 · 08/04/2026 13:30

I'm just wondering, I see so much hate on here about transgender woman and not a lot about transgender men. Does everyone on mum's net hate Transgender women and if so why? I don't mind sharing a toilet space with a transgender woman in fact my best friend is a transgender woman and she is the nicest person you could ever wish to meet and will protect any woman no matter where they are. I would hate to be sharing a toilet with a hairy masculine transgender man, which seems the way people want to go why? Am I the only person on here that supports trans gender women, if so I need to leave. How many people that hate Transgender women have actually met one and had issues with one I'd love to know.

This is very much in the MRA wheelhouse of “men are more likely to be victims of violence than women”. While true, it’s not relevant to this discussion.

Helleofabore · 09/04/2026 13:27

So far we have had just on the past couple of pages:

The men are going to attack anyway, why bother excluding a sub group then.

Some dads take their daughters into female toilets (just a note, they fucking should not be doing that either)

I think there was a dismissal in there of the harm that female people have actually reported in sports etc as being ‘imagined and random’.

Some women are masculine looking, so this will harm all women to exclude a group of male people.

Focus on the other men.

Don’t waste police time.

This group of male people are not as dangerous as the others (and ignores the MoJ evidence and safeguarding principles)

They are just a few.

This group are targeted for violence and are victimised (and apparently no other sub group of male people are).

They just want to pee in privacy.

Very weak arguments, some are simply completely flawed logically and evidence wise.

Then we have the emotionally manipulative tactics such as:
Hysteria, hate, imagined and random scenarios,

Must be another day ending in 'y'.

Nope. Just curious on why you think shaving and acting "feminine" is what makes a woman a woman.

India, is that you?

StormyPotatoes · 09/04/2026 13:29

CollsR · 09/04/2026 12:57

What I am saying is: Allowing random people to police the bathroom, based on how feminine someone looks, is dangerous. I don't want you to police the bathroom and ask about my genitalia if I wear no makeup and trousers one day. Even woman, born as woman, can be guessed as the wrong gender.

Allowing random people to act as police is very dangerous.

Of course (use your common sense) if anyone (male or female) is behaving odd or threatening in a public loo call the police and if you think it's safe, step in.

I will never understand why posters will make themselves look deliberately stupid to support trans rights.

I am very sure you a man because of this sentence:

I don't want you to police the bathroom and ask about my genitalia if I wear no makeup and trousers one day.

Every single woman on this thread has entered a public toilet wearing trousers and no makeup and nobody has questioned their sex. The fact that you think that might confuse people says more about your expectations of the women than the general populace.

If (and I say this as a big if) a woman is challenged it because immediately clear when she moves and talks that she is not in fact a man. And even if that was to happen, the ‘danger’ to a woman being questioned by another woman is nothing compared to opening the doors to men. All because men (including trans-identified ones) can’t take no for an answer.

It's a nonsense argument.

It's almost as though women haven't been going into female only toilets for decades with no issue.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/04/2026 13:32

The calling women silly and hysterical for not wanting men in female spaces was really quite gleeful, I felt. It’s completely unnecessary to insult women for being frightened of men, unless you really want to.

And let’s face it, if we were challenged we wouldn’t take offence and likely have a giggle about it.

I have a name more commonly used by men. I have been misgendered my whole life as a result. A simple correction and the odd joke is all that is needed to rectify the mistake.

Totally.

And when faced with posters who have post-traumatic stress due to their abuse at the hands of men, doubles down.

even if you genuinely thought there were too few men to be concerned about, in your bubble, where is the empathy for the rest of the female sex?

You're absolutely right. It's intentional.

with this thread approaching 1k I can’t help but think @Steph2002dropped the grenade and then left. Which is ironic because this is exactly what has fuelled this issue. A man came along and stated something bonkers, us silly women then dared to say no, and repeat. Throw in a few thousand stories of harassment and abuse towards women and women losing jobs, reputations, actually being abused, and here we are. Also - am I the only one who’s suspicious of the name? I can’t help but think @Steph2002is Stephanie Davies from Portsmouth? 2002 was when he became a she surgically?

Great minds think alike! I wondered that too!

CatAsstrophe · 09/04/2026 13:38

Datun · 09/04/2026 08:55

It doesn't though. Because it's not about being trans. It's about being male.

Men commit 98% of all sex crime, 90% of all violent crime. Statistically men who identify as women more sexual assaults than men who don't.

And that's because of a paraphilia called autogynephilia.

Back in the mists of time, transsexuals were largely gay men who felt their femininity would be more acceptable if they said they were women.

unfortunately, the Internet, as is it's habit, has allowed the other cohort of men who say they are women, autogynephiles to entirely engulf the original homosexual transsexuals.

AGP men are largely straight, often married, and are driven, to really quite extreme lengths by their fetish. (see the transwidow's threads on this very site). They are highly misogynistic.

There is often a conflict if people know homosexual transsexuals, but listen to women who know autogynephiles.

They are not the same. They are, however, both using women.

And, of course, if you admit one cohort, you admit the other.

Those photos have put me right off my lunch!!

Datun · 09/04/2026 13:39

I think there's an effort to have a lot of threads at the top of the list talking negatively about trans people.

To show advertisers, investors, buyers, who knows.

The point is, that ship has sailed. The law came down on the side of women, and so has public opinion.

Read this and had a Pete the Plumber moment knowing the MoJ stats would be landing very soon....

It would be my pleasure to provide the aforesaid stats.

Comparisons of official MOJ statistics from March / April 2019 (most recent
official count of transgender prisoners):
76 sex offenders out of 129 transwomen = 58.9%
125 sex offenders out of 3812 women in prison = 3.3%
13234 sex offenders out of 78781 men in prison = 16.8%

I’m sorry. I am the same.

I'm sorry that you have this too. Many women do. Over 6% of women in the UK have PTSD. The percentage is higher for poor and minority women. The 6% is full blown PTSD. Many more have PTSD symptoms.

27.8% of women re-experienced a traumatic event in the past month. That's a lot of women who deal with this. Why aren't our concerns and needs considered important? I'm dumbfounded that this issue wasn't deemed more important than the desires of a tiny percentage of men who want access to women's spaces and services. It's still rarely directly addressed, even though it hurts many women.

The law came down on the side of women, and so has public opinion.

Yes, at long last, common sense prevailed.

Sex is binary. No amount of dresses, nail varnish or badly applied eyeshadow turns a man into a woman.

MyAmpleSheep · 09/04/2026 13:52

CollsR · 09/04/2026 12:44

I’m sorry for what you’ve been through. You can, of course, have group therapy free from men & have a female doctor.

You should also be able to use a public restroom without people forcing you to prove you are a woman. Nonesense hysteria about trans women, makes us all unsafe. Just let people pee in privacy with dignity.

There is no in-principle difference between women-only support or counselling groups and women only toilets.

Any exception applied to allow men into women’s toilets applies to any single sex service.

60% of trans identified males in prison are convicted of sex offences?

that explains a thing or two.

RobinStrike · 09/04/2026 13:54

@Steph2002@GlovedhandsCecilia@CollsR this article includes the statistics mentioned above which makes it clear that there is a higher likelihood of a trans identifying man being a sexual predator than other men, not a lower chance. (This should have a share). Women should not have to make decisions on whether or not someone standing next to them is male or female. Men shouldn’t try to disobey the law and employers and the government should enforce it. Including in prisons where women have no choice

There is value in calmly, firmly and confidently refuting these nonsense points every time they’re raised, th more often the better. It’s dull and boring and thankless but the more often anyone new to the concepts gets to read, the wider the issue is known and understood.

The ploppers and grenade lobbers are doing us a service, even if it doesn’t feel so.

Fucking don’t feel it today @SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius

i feel like I’m banging my head against a brick wall. I ask the same questions and I never get answers.

why is this so contentious? I just want single SEX spaces to be single SEX.

and if we start with preferred pronouns or otherwise muddying the waters it becomes yes but … and that’s not enforceable then in law.

Don't feel hopeless, @Taztoy . The silence which follows your plain, straightforward questions is very eloquent. It really says the quiet part out loud!

None of these people have anything approaching a reasoned, rational argument for why gender identity ideology should trump biological knowledge of sex, and it shows.

slug · 09/04/2026 14:06

All this constant nonsense from men who are furious at women saying no to them.

Reminds me of my dear old mother's line "There's none so blind as those who refuse to see"
