I'm just wondering, I see so much hate on here about transgender woman and not a lot about transgender men. Does everyone on mum's net hate Transgender women and if so why? I don't mind sharing a toilet space with a transgender woman in fact my best friend is a transgender woman and she is the nicest person you could ever wish to meet and will protect any woman no matter where they are. I would hate to be sharing a toilet with a hairy masculine transgender man, which seems the way people want to go why? Am I the only person on here that supports trans gender women, if so I need to leave. How many people that hate Transgender women have actually met one and had issues with one I'd love to know.

Before Stonewall espoused the trans cause and expanded the definition of trans to encompass all and every AGP man with a cross dressing fetish, the very few transexuals - as they were then known - may have been tolerated simply because there were so few of them. That was a vastly different proposition to the much greater number of 'trans lesbians' who expect to indulge in various forms of trouser filth, which includes breaching single sex spaces and abusing, threatening and intimidating any woman who has the temerity to question the TWAW edict. Transwomen like your friend would do well to band together and sue Stonewall for making their lives much more difficult, while they - Stonewall - have taken every opportunity to infiltrate and fleece all of our institutions in order to line their own coffers.

I started out like you op, live and let live and what harm can it do to pretend along with them , but then I was asked would I be ok with pretence if trans women could play sports along women and I found that I wasn't ok with that and then taking it further I found I wasn't ok with trans women in open plan dressing rooms beside my teenage niece either and then I realised it's not something you can be half an half, you either believe that trans woman are identical to women or you don't. There is no half way on this.
i don't hate them though and believe they are at risk from men out on the world and they should have safe spaces like non binary toilets etc but it shouldn't be women only spaces.

My God I am so sorry. I cannot believe there are still people on this thread defending the invasion of womens spaces when things like this are happening in real time.

Real life example for all those defending trans people in womens spaces out of principle. I so hope you are okay now, what a devastatingly tragic thing for you to have to go through and at such a young age. This is why this topic is so important, and women fighting for womens spaces to remain as that cannot just be dismissed as hate.

I don't hate trans people. In fact there's a transwoman who I love. He's my brother. He'll never be a woman but he is a genuinely lovely person. I don't want to share toilets with him any more than I want to share toilets with any other man. We have a good relationship, we are to disagree on this issue, just like we do on other issues. Grown ups can disagree. It doesn't mean we hate each other.

Women are not a tiny % of the population. And our rights are important to us.

I don't enjoy recounting this experience and no women should need to explain why they are not happy to share spaces with men. We are entitled in law to privacy, dignity, and safety.

However I will continue to explain when it comes up exactly why I dont buy the bullshit assertion that no trans identifying men ever caused problems in a loo or changing room.

Rather I do it as a fairly tough middle aged bird than the young girl Katie Dolatowski assaulted.
