You keep telling yourself that.

Most people who feel unsafe try to remove themselves from the situation, yet here you are returning again and again.

Yet here you are…

Feminism my arse. It’s a cohort of women who ridicule other women for having a different opinion.

Like men.

Back to the book.
I wonder what Nicola is doing with all that spare time on her hands?

KittyWilkinson · 09/07/2026 16:59

Perhaps Specsavers might star her in one of their ads. She could play a short sighted woman who can't find her campervan up the side of her MILs house

Your feminism is top tier. On here anyway…

JC's book completely confirms what many of us have suspected for ages: corruption seems absolutely endemic across the SNP.
Spotted this earlier too...

She should look into their hearing aids too - they could have helped her hear the people who were telling her that the fish was rotting from the head down.

What an odd reply.

Desperado - someone who is willing to do things that involve risk or danger, often criminal things

Would never have occurred to me that you were. It sounds like you're admitting to being lonely but you're not that desperate. Which I'm sure wasn't your intention.

I spend time on MN because it's interesting, intelligent, and frequently very amusing. I wouldn't waste my precious hours otherwise. I try to think kindly of the ones who seem to actively hate the site and other posters but still hang around. Go well.

Go well where? I haven’t accused anyone of being “lonely”.

You just can’t see yourself.

Busy building her television career, it seems.

I find it hard to believe that someone has decided to put three rejects from Scottish politics into the same show: one SNP, one Tory and one Labour, I recall.

They're only missing a LibDem and someone from the Monster Raving Loony Party.

And the Greens. Is Harvie still around?

Where was Nicola rejected?

Hi folks,

We've just made a number of deletions on this thread.

By all means continue to debate the topic, challenge each other's arguments and disagree robustly, but please stop making it personal. We believe it's entirely possible to have a discussion without attacking or baiting other posters.

From this point on, any further posts in this vein are likely to result in temporary suspensions.

Please let's draw a line and get the thread back on track now.

Oh good grief. How on earth could I forget about the Scottish Greens?! He's still at Holyrood, but no longer co-leader

Differentforgirls · 09/07/2026 18:48

Nicola was re-elected and then resigned. Patrick got re-elected. Joanna was rejected by the electorate.

Those are the facts.
