You may disagree with her politics or views ( I do in many respects) but I cannot believe that anyone who has seen Ms Cherry in action in court or in the select committee at Westminster forensically but politely cutting her way through the social media reps bluster and obfuscation about double standards and misogyny on their platforms could possibly regard this woman as ‘sad’!

‘Sad’ also assumes that the SNP and independence are all she is - unlike other career politicians’ she is an outstanding advocate and has a whole other career.

Compare her position to that of a career politician who rose to lead her party and country but had to stand down in ignominious circumstances as she was married to an alleged embezzler and apparently unaware of what he was up to …..

Backatcha. 'No one cares' is what kids say in the playground not adults as part of a political discussion. Of course people care about how the Scottish Government got captured by an ideology that led to rapist Isla Bryson being put in a woman's prison (fortunately only briefly as he is a rapist) and nurse Sandie Peggie having to share a changing room with a biological man. It's an absolute shit show.

Lots of people in Scotland know who Nicola Sturgeon and her book still flopped. Joanna Cherry will not be expecting the same kind of sales figures as NS was. Nevertheless I’d be interested in reading it.

I really do care. I care that the party that has been in power for so long has failed to run its own party finances with any degree of lawful oversight or probity.
