I am a woman who you might describe as "gender non conforming", though I personally would just have said a not very "girly" woman. I have very short hair, don't wear make up, seldom wear a bra, always wear trousers, never wear heels etc etc. You really don't have to worry about how this "narrative" of hate you describe affects me - it doesn't!
The reason it doesn't is because all women are perfectly capable of recognising me as an actual woman. They don't and never have challenged me for being in a female only space because I obviously belong there.
The fact I am a non feminine woman actually makes me less sympathetic towards trans "inclusivity" because I am capable of realising and understanding the huge scope of what it is possible to be and still to be a woman.
It seems to me that trans supporters actually want to narrow what the definition of man and woman can include. A butch lesbian girl must now be a trans boy/man, a feminine gay boy a trans girl/woman. How did this narrowing of gender acceptability norms happen?
And while, often neuro diverse, lesbian girls are being fast tracked into life changing hormones and mutilating surgeries, fully intact males cosplay their often grotesque parody of femininity and womanhood and demand acceptance into all aspects of female life.
Too right I'm angry. This is not a widening of "gender" it is the absolute opposite. This is not in the least progressive, it is a throwback to gender stereotypes of the 1940s. I refuse to play this game.
