Is anyone on here trans-inclusive?

Hi everyone, this is just a quick post to ask if anybody else on here is trans inclusive? I know I’m definitely in the minority here but I just wanted to see.

The problem is you don't have the point you think you do as women aren't unsafe from trans people.

Men who believe they are women claim to feel unsafe in mens toilets so 'have' to use women's toilets. Are you saying that they're wrong too? Because if you are, then there's no need for a biological man to use a woman's toilet. Ever.

How does your argument stand up to the 'men' who discover that they are women when they're caught for rape.

I work with, among others, young trans people. Guess they are lying.

About being murdered? Yes, obviously.

AmaryllisNightAndDay · 15/01/2026 12:10

Yes, very. I'm all for including transmen/transboys and other gender-non-conforming women and girls in women's spaces and services.

Which is what mostly happens anyway - for example in the UK prison system transmen are always sent to women's prisons for very obvious safety reasons (with I think just one current exception). And (as far as I know anyway!) transboys can still join Girl Guides though transgirls can't, as transgirls are male and that's illegal.

And I'm all for including transwomen and other gender-non-conforming men in men's spaces without fear of harassment.

In other words you can't back up your arguments. If you could, you would. We've seen this thousands of times before over the years.

who is this We? Pops up a lot on here.

What are you angry at?

Personally, imposition of sexist structures at the expense of recognising the material impact of sex.

ThatBlackCat · 15/01/2026 12:11

ForProudPinkPombear · 15/01/2026 12:06

It is beyond exhausting dealing with people who focus in on one thing, that was not actually stated, & continue with it because they think they have a 'gotcha' that undermines the entire lived experience of a minority group.

Er, the point is, MALES are not a 'minority' group. They are the predator and oppressor sex class. You don't get to remove 1% of males, re-badge them as trans, and class that group of fully intact males as a 'minority'. It is beyond exhausting dealing with people who cannot understand that this is about MALE vs FEMALE. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hoardasurass · 15/01/2026 00:32

No i dont demonise anyone however i will never support anything to do with the cult of gender ideology nor will I respect anyone who demands I give up my rights for the wants of men with special identities

You seem to be confusing "men with special identities" and "trans people" here.

loislovesstewie · 15/01/2026 12:11

What are you angry at?

I'm not angry. I'm pointing out that men don't become women.
Are you able to answer the question?

Dewberrywotsit · 15/01/2026 12:12

Completely trans inclusive. I don't take issue with people based on anything other than how they treat others.

ForProudPinkPombear · 15/01/2026 12:12

NotBadConsidering · 15/01/2026 12:10

About being murdered? Yes, obviously.

Why are you so obsessed with murder? Trans people have been murdered for being trans. Have I said where, or when, or compared statistics? And does anything else those young people experience not matter?

Seethlaw · 15/01/2026 12:12

ForProudPinkPombear · 15/01/2026 11:35

I'm glad that is not your experience. I'm sorry that you can't understand that it is the experience of others. If someone is murdered because they are trans then it is a problem.

It's not my experience. It's not the experience of any of the other trans people I've known. It's not the story the statistics tell. In short: it's not reality. I can't make it any clearer than that: the one not engaging with reality is you.

Trans people have been murdered for being trans.

There is zero evidence of this. Please stop posting falsehoods.

So you believe men can become women? Well I guess you will have found something that no Biologist on planet earth has ever found.

Peridoteage · 15/01/2026 12:14

I think most people on here respect trans adults rights/choices but not the extent of superseding the rights of women and girls, particularly wrt to

  • women only spaces such as bathrooms/changing rooms
  • women only groups
  • womens categories in sport
  • women only short lists in politics that are specifically there to even out the advantages that biological men have in this sphere.

Trans men as FEMALES, are NOT A THREAT to us.

That should have given you the hint. That this is about the threat males poses to females. Its about male vs female. It never was about 'trans'.

Taztoy · 15/01/2026 12:15

Please can someone tell
me - objectively and by reference to something other than internal cognition - how a “trans woman”(using that phrase rather than trans identifying man for clarity) becomes a woman.

Cailleachnamara · 15/01/2026 12:15

OchreSnail · 15/01/2026 11:01

Me.

The level of hate on here is more alarming to me than the v remote prospect of seeing a man-looking man in the ladies, plus I seriously worry about the effect this narrative is having on non-gender conforming women.

For context, In 60-odd years I've never seen a man-looking man in the ladies.

I am a woman who you might describe as "gender non conforming", though I personally would just have said a not very "girly" woman. I have very short hair, don't wear make up, seldom wear a bra, always wear trousers, never wear heels etc etc. You really don't have to worry about how this "narrative" of hate you describe affects me - it doesn't!

The reason it doesn't is because all women are perfectly capable of recognising me as an actual woman. They don't and never have challenged me for being in a female only space because I obviously belong there.

The fact I am a non feminine woman actually makes me less sympathetic towards trans "inclusivity" because I am capable of realising and understanding the huge scope of what it is possible to be and still to be a woman.

It seems to me that trans supporters actually want to narrow what the definition of man and woman can include. A butch lesbian girl must now be a trans boy/man, a feminine gay boy a trans girl/woman. How did this narrowing of gender acceptability norms happen?

And while, often neuro diverse, lesbian girls are being fast tracked into life changing hormones and mutilating surgeries, fully intact males cosplay their often grotesque parody of femininity and womanhood and demand acceptance into all aspects of female life.

Too right I'm angry. This is not a widening of "gender" it is the absolute opposite. This is not in the least progressive, it is a throwback to gender stereotypes of the 1940s. I refuse to play this game.

Yes, I’m a trans-inclusive feminist. I avoid the feminist threads on MN because they’re dominated by trans-exclusionary feminists.

Me too

I feel the percentage of society who are wishing to change their body is v v v low to be a major issue for me to give much thought to

the teeny tiny few who are using their female outward appearance to rape or harm women is so small it’s not my top agenda for things to get riled up about

i don’t think people with penis’s should enter female only spaces or male bodies compete as a female in female sport

I will happily call any one by any pronouns or name they prefer and have had a gender fluid person who had male / female names on different days and I can call them whatever they want in any given day

live, and let live

ForProudPinkPombear · 15/01/2026 12:12

In your opinion. I have a different one. Good day to you.

I don't think it's kind to tell people who identify as trans, particularly children, that they can actually change sex or that they are likely to be murdered.

Dewberrywotsit · 15/01/2026 12:16

Women are not safe from sex offenders. Sex offenders can also be female. Being trans does not make someone a sex offender. This is all hateful bullshit. Go out and start petitioning against sexual offences, hate crimes against women by all means, but don't label all trans people as sex offenders. It is illogical and speaks to me of ignorance. For the record - I work in criminal justice and can tell you categorically that there are female as well as male sex offenders. So get a grip, do something useful and stop persecuting people that you don't understand.
