This is no surprise after his disgusting responses to the Mayoral Questions last year:

Here he is lying: https://www.google.com/search?q=sadiq+khan+rape+gang+issue+mayoral+questiohns&sca_esv=fbaa7d3b9c35fdd6&udm=7&biw=1445&bih=698&sxsrf=AE3TifPy7V-EXPq_LwF7YzJkipNKJdaksQ%3A1761031972512&ei=JDf3aI_3HqO5hbIPltjWgAI&ved=0ahUKEwiPmaOp47SQAxWjXEEAHRasFSAQ4dUDCBE&uact=5&oq=sadiq+khan+rape+gang+issue+mayoral+questiohns&gs_lp=EhZnd3Mtd2l6LW1vZGVsZXNzLXZpZGVvIi1zYWRpcSBraGFuIHJhcGUgZ2FuZyBpc3N1ZSBtYXlvcmFsIHF1ZXN0aW9obnNIqwtQ6wFYhQpwAXgBkAEBmAFroAGZBqoBAzguMbgBA8gBAPgBAZgCAaACBsICChAAGLADGNYEGEeYAwCIBgGQBgSSBwExoAf5CLIHALgHAMIHAzItMcgHBA&sclient=gws-wiz-modeless-video#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:4d0001a7,vid:noJCNh60lfk,st:0

He has to go.

Sigh. I am very disappointed with Sadiq. Horrified to hear of victims dropping out of the enquiry. I agree govt handling has been terrible. I certainly think grooming gangs are everywhere and blase dismissal does not help.
We need to drag all this out in the open.

defrazzled · 23/10/2025 19:53

It happens everywhere everyday. I saw it outside my office window at 7pm but I’d better be 🤐 or I’ll be in trouble with the police again

What should we be doing differently?

Obviously not ignoring the racial implications is part of it, but what do we do about that? Do we look more closely men from a certain area in Pakistan? Or what?

What do we need to do differently to disrupt the abuse of these children?

We should hold people in authority to account and insist on honesty, transparency and speedy action in dealing with organised child rape. Khan is in a position of authority and his deflections are shameful.

Casey’s recommendations should be properly implemented . Any inquiry into what has happened must not cover up the racial aspect of the offenders.
The victims voices must be listened to and they must not be dismissed/ patronised or manipulated . Jess Phillips also has questions to answer.

Why is it that the voices of every other group ( whether race/ religion or the trans lobby ) trump the protection of women and girls.

Agree with all this.

An easy and obvious start could be reviewing the issuing of taxi licences, as the use of taxis and connections to councils is a recurring feature.

When I visited a relative in Leicester recently the first driver at the station rank spoke so little English a colleague had to help type Royal Infirmary into the SatNav. In what other job could someone with so little knowledge obtain permission to operate?

It is shocking that these men can so easily get 20 other men to participate in rape of kids.

Those particular men view those particular girls as sub human, fair game.

Agreed.

Agreed. It is still happening. It is everywhere. Anyone who thinks otherwise is very much mistaken.

Fully agree.

This was from another thread. It's a wee bit concerning.

I’ve watched a few interviews Raja Miah has done and much of what he says Maggie Oliver agrees with.

It is deeply concerning the connection between the cover up of this, and labour run councils / Muslim block postal voting via the mosques.

There appears to be so much institutional rot which Labour are potentially implicated in, that they cannot possibly be involved in this enquiry.

Surely if we are going to get any justice for these women, who have been so badly let down already, the enquiry needs to be lead by an independent judge.

Another “frequently missing” child in Tower Hamlets, east London, was being taken to sex parties in hotels in 2018, when he was 13. Jay recorded that police “decided that this was not a child sexual exploitation case” based on a single telephone call to social services. Officers did not speak to the boy or his family.

for actual fuck's sake

if an adult is having sex with a child, that adult belongs in prison

if an adult is sexually exploiting a child, that adult belongs in prison

what the hell were the police doing instead of investigating and arresting these people? oh yeah, policing fucking twitter

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 26/10/2025 19:18

The police won’t get back to you for five or six days then they say, ‘Oh, she won’t give a statement’. If these girls were known to them, they’d say all sorts, ‘She’s the instigator’, ‘She’s promiscuous’.”

<head explodes>

lazy, incompetent fucks

It's beyond shocking that child abuse is just being dismissed as the children "choosing" this. The whole point of the age of consent is that a child is deemed not to be able to consent below this age, surely?

I thought this had all been dragged out into the open and dealt with after the Rotherham, Oxford scandals etc but no, here we are in 2025 AND IT'S STILL HAPPENING.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 26/10/2025 19:30

and it's actually so simple

it is illegal to have sex with children

if you are a police officer and it comes to your attention that someone is having sex with a child, go and arrest that person

even if you don't like the child for whatever reason
even if you really like the person having sex with the child for some reason

you still arrest the person breaking the law because that is your fucking job

One of my friends was a foster carer ( in London) . She’s older than most foster carers and Catholic ( but not the judgemental or overly pious type- very down to earth)
One of her foster girls started have a sexual relationship with a much older man when she was 15 . When my friend tried to stop the relationship she was told the child could make her own decisions if she wanted a sexual relationship. It was implied that her Catholic beliefs were influencing her ( whereas actually she is very down to earth and was just concerned that her foster child was being manipulated and abused)
She was sent on some sort of course to get her to understand that children under 16 can make their own choices … She wouldn’t be allowed to remain as a foster carer if she didn’t follow the programme.

SidewaysOtter · 26/10/2025 20:34

So, they can make a choice…to break the law? What else - drive a car? Vote in an election? Murder someone? If the decision to do something which is illegal is made freely, how the holy fuck does that make it legal?!

I mean…WTAF?

AMansAManForAllThat · 26/10/2025 20:53

Yes, interesting how choices which make you more sexually available are fine.

I think the turning of a blind eye to under 16’s having sex became commonplace after the Gillick judgement.
I understand the thinking behind the judgement but ( 2 consensual 15 year olds from loving families are not at risk in the same way as a vulnerable 15 year old with no family support and an adult “boyfriend “offering “love” .

Absolutely, surely the “turning a blind eye” is meant to stop teenagers being up on a rape charge in the case of two 15 year-olds having sex, it’s not meant to be a free pass for groomers, abusers and nonces.

Context is all.

There is no question that victims have been and are still being let down on all sides, and no question that the far right has been making hay out of it. The whole situation is embarrassing for both local and national Labour.

But for another angle on Raja Miah, have a look at this very critical (and admittedly partial) account. A lot of the criticism is ad hominem, but however unsatisfactory his alleged motives I'd still like to know which of Miah's allegations are actually true.

So, Trevor Phillips is not afraid to call child rape by these Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Afghan men by its name.
