Five weeks ago I was speculating about gaming and cannabis.

AI chatbots were not something I'd imagined as working to radicalise an insane youngster.

I wonder when we'll first see an accused killer mounting a Son of Sam defence by claiming an AI chatbot told them to kill.

I'd trust what an AI told me slightly less than something from Wikipedia. I've got an Alexa, mostly for music and timers, 'she' talks absolute mince. I'm relatively sane though. I'm wondering if Tyler was driven to do what he did by the voices in someone else's head.

Well we already have court cases being brought by families of people who have killed themselves after being egged on by AI so I think it's only a matter of time. However, I hope when it comes to killing other people, the courts recognise it's pretty clearly known to be wrong to kill other people, no matter what a non-human AI tells you.
