Because of course he did.

Note to MN and monitors. Nicoresti is described as a "trans woman", therefore biologically male, therefore "he" is factually correct.

Is trolling women part of the act? He’s just a “progressive” version of Jim Davidson.

Ouch😂and thus also a bit of an oxymoron.

I believe I saw Sam in a comedy showcase/competition in about '21. The act raised a smile and I can't remember any reference to transactivision. I definitely saw some potential.
Now it seems their entire schtick or personality is about being “trans” I am sad this seems to be a more surefire way of getting to win awards and gain recognition.

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 24/08/2025 18:35

According to Wiki, he's engaged to his girlfriend.
Except the article used different pronouns.
So, just a hetero bloke then.

Lins77 · 24/08/2025 18:38

I wonder how many male comedians will consider putting lipstick and a skirt on next year, given Sam's success.

I don't see the problem here, it wasn't a "women's" comedy award, just "the" comedy award.

This. Are they funny? Isn’t that the point?

Well, I did see a bit of their act, and they weren’t all that. I didn’t think they were the best on the day, but concede I haven’t seen the full act.
People are upset because SN’s entire routine revolves around gender identity and criticism of GC thought, so it stands to reason that the people on this board are not going to find that particularly amusing. Also, SN’s “first all female line-up” comment is quite obviously designed to get a reaction, so I guess they’ll be pleased that they did.

Another Great Performance

I haven't heard a single second of Sam's session but the Torygraph review appears to be impressed:

Does he put more effort into his act than he does to being a woman?

I have never seen a sofa in the ladies’ loos. It’s all very blokey, isn’t it?

I have. The Phoenix pub in Cavendish square in London has a sofa in the Ladies in the basement, which means you can have a sit down when there's a queue. (They used to do comedy nights in the basement, so the loos used to get quite busy in the intervals)

This is the youth style of trans. Gone are the days of men attempting to “pass” or feminise themselves. Gone are the days of hormones and surgeries or attempts to speak in a Pythonesque lady voice. Womanhood has now been reduced to one item of clothing as an indication of a man’s lady feelings. No further effort required.

That said, they know better than anyone that whilst making jokes about masturbating in women’s changing spaces makes for technically great comedy, it’s not the most useful addition to the discourse. Despite many laughing hard at this repeated bit of schtick, some faces will show only dismay.

From a review. I don’t know if Sam is non-binary as the review only uses they, or whether the reviewer was being very careful not to use sexed pronouns.

Sounds fine. Congratulations to them.

It was one person.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/08/2025 10:38

One man.

Is he about to announce that it’s all been a massive prank to make some kind of point? It’s got him the £10k and a lot of attention. He’s clearly a straight man.

'....hahahaha! Men wanking in places where women are undressing and vulnerable! What a laugh! What a jape! Those silly women getting upset at men actually bringing themselves to climax beside (or actually on) clothes women are going to put on their body!'

Fucking hell, I hope that review was a clever pisstake or I actually despair.

No, he wasn't funny. There wasn't much laughter from the audience either.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/08/2025 14:49

In what sense is it “technically great” to make jokes about being a man wanking in a female space?

Theres been loads of situations were i think its just a man taking the piss, doing some sort of performance art or making a point. But they always persist.

Maybe they start off like that, but cant stop?

Nicoresti said: "Winning the award sure is swell, I'm super excited and stoked and jazzed. I did this for the queers making weird art, and it's a privilege to share this moment with the first all female line-up of award winners."

well it’s certainly weird to describe a lineup including a male as ‘all female’Hmm

Typical male response, muscling in on the fact that women won more awards than men. “Look at me! Not a woman but still good enough to be in an all female line up. Take that and suck it up sistas.”

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/08/2025 08:07

There is an awful dream sequence where all of the viewpoints of TERF women are parodied in the form of an insane male character called Nam Sicoresti. It is really awful. It makes gender critical women into a man who eventually goes insane and is cancelled by a female platform censor.

sounds like a Poundland Contrapoints.

Must be awful being such an unremarkable woman that you need to figure out a reason to be mad at a trans person winning a comedy award.

This is nothing to do with protecting women or our spaces being invaded. Just be honest and admit that you hate the fact that they exist.

We hate the fact that this person is photographed in our toilets where he has no right to be. He can exist away just stay out of women's spaces.

NotNowFGS · 26/08/2025 08:23

TheodoraCrumpet · 23/08/2025 20:56

Jesus. Anyone actually seen her performance, or is it okay to just slag someone off for being trans? Don't answer that.

No but now that toilet photo is out there it's open season on this guy and with good reason

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/08/2025 08:26

This “you’re just an unremarkable woman” line has been trotted out by a pp on two threads now. I don’t care whether randoms on the internet think me and my life is “unremarkable”, what a bizarre mentality. Why would it have any relevance to men using women’s spaces?
