The world has probably had enough of sturgeon to last a lifetime but today’s ‘revelation’ from her shite book is just infuriating.

A long catalogue of poor me, I’m pure of spirit, any criticism is toxic, everyone else is malevolent.

Despite calling people who don’t agree with her idiotic bill racists, homophobes and misogynists, here she says JK’s teeshirt didn’t elevate the debate or illuminate the issues.

And then goes on to say that this issue wasn’t really that important to mainstream voters but we are all guilty of hysteria.

And she wishes she had the courage to call a rapist female.

For someone allegedly politically astute this book is a very stupid strategy. Slow hand clap.

What people like NS fail to grasp is there is zero debate to be had. Sex is immutable. That's why it needs no qualifiers (I find "biological sex" a tautology that wastes valuable advertising space). To not accept that means you aren't even in the same universe. let alone same page.

The only debate is around how does a civilised country protect the safety, dignity and freedoms of minorities without removing the same from the majority. And that debate is universal. It doesn't just apply to one section of any society.

The problem is, when you go to war, there is more money to be made in guns than peace.

She is very confused, isn’t she.

Someone needs to explain to her that debate involves listening to the ‘other side’ and considering their points in your response. Sometimes it involves realising your own position needs adjusting in the light of new information and perspectives. Debate is not just forcefully shouting your own perspective and steamrollering to get your own way at all costs.

So Sturgeon is yet another one using JKR for publicity purposes. ( like Boy George former pop star) I would buy sturgeon’s book in order to burn it as it would be giving her money.

She is desperate for sales.

Too right, my heart sank when I saw she was thinking about moving to London. We don’t want her here! Though I doubt she’ll find herself suddenly becoming relevant again if she does try it.

I'd piss my pants if JKRowling took her up on the offer to debate and the plan was to record it for the internet.

1. it was never JKRowling ACTUAL job to listen to debate and opposing views like Sturgeons.
2. secondly JKRowling did try and engage and was berated for it.
3. Sturgeon has repeatedly shown herself up to be wildly out of her depth on the subject and is armed only with smears and mantra
4. If she wants to debate it, is this an admission she STILL hasn't remotely changed her mind DESPITE her comments about rapists 'probably' shouldn't be allowed to transition.
5. This still doesn't explain how she thinks the law would have been workable based on a lack of definition of gender and this wibbly wobbly timeywhimey concept of what it is and how it could replace sex. Which is pretty bad considering she was trying to write the law as that's what her job was.
6. She's only saying this, because she doesn't think she'll be held to it. Even if JKRowling said yes, Sturgeon would find a reason why the terms / situation of the debate wasn't acceptable so she didn't have to do it (too dangerous probably).

I do hope JKR has something to say about this.... If only for the amusement value.

Having said that Sturgeon is clearly doing it, to virtue signal and to try and get publicity for her fucking book.

It was the TRAs, Stonewall and Stergeon et al who created no debate and when we insisted on a debate they made it toxic and issued death and rape threats.
None of that stopped women from fighting for our rights and offering debate. We offered sensible compromises and got more abuse. So we took the fuck you we'll take our rights back approach and went to crt and guess what we won and now the compromises we suggested are legally mandated ie 3rd spaces or use the men's. Funnily enough now they want a debate and cry about how toxic the debate is when men and women say no the time for debate is over follow the law ie fuck off
