Mumsnet Obsession With Penises

My controversial opinion is that most of the Mums who obsess here over penises, uteruses and chromosomes, would pick more important and interesting topics if their own child was trans.

You mean women concerned about their safe spaces, yes?

vodkaredbullgirl · 29/06/2025 18:37

Theunamedcat · 29/06/2025 18:38

bloodredfeaturewall · 29/06/2025 18:39

PepsiForEva · 29/06/2025 18:39

Aah .. I needed a laugh tonight.

Thank you.

men should not be in women's spaces. Men with fetishes should REALLY not be in women and girls spaces.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is either captured, thick or has a fetish of their own.

You are welcome.

LindorDoubleChoc · 29/06/2025 18:41

That's nice dear.

DumbbellIdiot · 29/06/2025 18:41

womanbornn · 29/06/2025 18:43

stargirl1701 · 29/06/2025 18:44

Penis beakers, OP?

partyboat356 · 29/06/2025 18:44

Ah, sweet!

Sarahconnor1 · 29/06/2025 18:45

Oh you silly mummies, why don't you forget about women's rights, single sex spaces and fret about prams instead.

nocoolnamesleft · 29/06/2025 18:46

Protecting women’s hard won rights, and safeguarding children, is hardly frivolous.

My kids are too old for prams what do i fret about NOW!!!!!!!

GwenogJones · 29/06/2025 18:47

My controversial opinion is that most of the mums who obsess here over penises, uteruses and chromosomes would pick more important and interesting topics if men stopped trying to invade women's spaces, redefine words and transition children.

In fact, I expect they'd love to be discussing "more important and interesting topics". But the men won't stop and so neither will the mums.

How inconvenient for the men.

MagpiePi · 29/06/2025 18:49

Oooo, edgy thread title 😱

Isn’t it time you packed your bag ready for school tomorrow?

Ihavepaidalotforthisstory · 29/06/2025 18:50

PeehS · 29/06/2025 18:51

Urgh yes all these women obsessing over women’s safety, women’s rights, women’s sports how dreadfully boring of them.

Helpmeplease2025 · 29/06/2025 18:52

No child is trans

Mine is that the majority of Mumsnet are educated enough to know a social contagion when they see one and realise that no one can change sex. The rest will come to realise this over time.

Yes. @Manfreglory has no wish to actually interact. The thing is we have all had experience of a 3 year old yelling "you are mean" and then sticking their fingers in their ears and yelling "I can't hear you" if you try to reason with them. People old enough to type out a sentence on a public forum ought to have matured beyond that development stage, but mums have certainly learned not to give in to the tantrums.

I do wonder whether this attitude among teens and twenty-somethings is due to more of them having the good fortune to reach that age without having been flashed at, frotted against on a crowded train, or groped by a stranger, such that they really don't know why some women like to be in a penis-free space when vulnerable? Has there been a dramatic reduction in such crimes since the 80s/90s? Or are ploppers like this the ones who want to commit these acts with impunity?
