My controversial opinion is that most of the Mums who obsess here over penises, uteruses and chromosomes, would pick more important and interesting topics if their own child was trans.

I think you misread a statistic - you'll find that the average "trans woman" is over 1000 times more likely to rape than any average woman.

Women can't commit rape, so it's not mathematically possible to work out how many more times likely a trans woman is to commit rape than a woman is. You can't have a multiple of zero.

How do you justify the risk to women by allowing all transwomen rapist and non rapist alike entry into women's toilets? What's your base number for women and girls being sexually assaulted or raped before you will reconsider this position?

There is a damn good reason why all males are excluded from female spaces and services, and all males includes transwomen as they are indeed biological males.

1. 70% of the transwomen in UK prisons are sex offenders. How many is the number you think women are justified in being concerned about?

3. there are no recorded instances of a transwoman being harmed in a men's single sex space ever in the UK.

There was quite a lot of talk about drake penises on MN at one point - I think it was just one of those phases. They do sound pretty nasty though.

Any sensible, informed parent would be concerned if their child wanted to ‘transition’. The ‘treatment’ is damaging, brutal and (reference Cass) not even an actual treatment. I’m glad my kids haven’t chosen a pathway of sterilisation, lack of sexual pleasure and possibly constant pain and other medical problems.
