More details re the Darlington nurses. I don’t know what to say. This is outrageous. Just fucking outrageous.

Holy fuck.

Of course, I went to look because I always do what I'm told not to do.

It's utterly bewildering.

Copy pasting a few comments here, but I'll add a bit of space so you can skip them, as some are upsetting.

Here's the right side of history Being Kind to a woman again. Someone tell me that this isn't a movement motivated by a deep hatred of women:

'Is her name really Karen?'

'It's vile transphobic bigotry'

'Eat shit, Karen, you vile vile bigot'

'This is yet another case of TERF yelling dubious accusations of "RAPE!" against someone who isn't even the alleged rapist. Their tactic is saying, "Well I have trauma and trans women trigger that so ipso facto it's sexual abuse not to let me have my own way". TERFs fake rape accusations all the time as a strategy and it's fucking disgusting. '

'blatant weaponisation of trauma '

'I don’t mean to be rude but at least a couple of the Darlington Nurses don’t fit conventional feminine beauty standards'

'She's hiding behind it to try and justify her prejudice'

'Karens transphobia is also exposed by her actions and statements.
Karen's arguments rest on the incorrect belief that trans women are men.'

'The lack of empathy and compassion is off the charts but of course they see themselves as the victims'

'she is just a transphobic pos who wants to jump through logical hoops to get sympathy for her bigotry. '

'That Karen has a really nasty vibe to her. Was my first impression when I saw a photo. Kind of malicious and almost attention seeking. I’m sorry if she was SAd, but so was I and I don’t go about my life trying to hurt others. Some people are just born cunts. GCs are very good at playing the victim card.'

The sheer, vicious dehumanisation of women is hard to miss.

How DARE women come up with reasons to not take their clothes off for a man to prove he has the power to force them to pretend? How DARE they 'weaponise' their traumas and feelings and histories as if this is an excuse to refuse, or as if those feelings would ever be real or matter in mere women? How dare they try and make people pity them so that they might wangle an escape?

I mean there's no bigger kick is there? When you have the power to force a woman to pretend to the point of taking her clothes off, you really have got the gold.

This pathological stuff needs to be called out plainly for what it is. These are not the attitudes of healthy, functional people.

It looks very much like an act of calculated spite. These people are beyond unpleasant. No wonder the NHS is in such a state.

And the powers that be wonder why there are so many scandals particularly around women and their health needs in the NHS.

TheOtherRaven · 11/05/2025 18:13

HermioneWeasley · 11/05/2025 17:30

Yes, I’ll bet it was a punishment to put her in her place for complaining

Agreed. The insensitivity is such that it can only be deliberate.

The ultimate in abuse. To be told she had to submit herself to be exposed before him, while unconscious and at her most helpless, if she wanted the health care she needed.

This is sheer evil.

'Yet more batshit nonsense from Reddit

I know some people connected to this and have seen pictures of the nurse, their argument is just transphobic that the nurse isn’t fem enough, she presents as a woman, has long hair etc.'

Oh, well that changes everything! He's got long hair ladies, get your kit off for him you vile transphobes🙄

OOO that means I must be a man. I transitioned 6 months ago when I had my long hair cut very short.

More hyped up drama about a transperson in a dressing room/restroom/or anywhere else on the planet. Something few people have probably even ever knowingly experienced and even far fewer having been even mildy inconvenienced by. There aren't that many of them, you know, and most of them just want to be able to get through their lives in some kind of minimal comfort.

Of course, it's highly satisfying for small-minded, nasty people to single out a very small and vulnerable group that has quite enough trials and tribulations as it is (as seen in their very high suicide rate, for example). Yes, do that, amplify any tiny thing they can, shout it from the rooftops, as an excuse to pile on and bully said small, unfortunate, vulnerable group. So smug, so satisfying. So easy. You feel so very superior to them.

It's not a good look, is it.

Edited

No, what is not a good look is you coming onto a thread about a woman whose employer enabled her male colleague to sexually harass and expose his genitals to her in a female only changing room, disciplined her for objecting and then denied her essential healthcare for further objecting to him being at the business end during her hysterectomy, and taking the side of the predatory man and despicable employer.

Trans people in the UK are not vulnerable, they might be a small minority but they have an extreme amount of political power which they have used to oppress women. They have the entire establishment wrapped round their little finger. They are not oppressed in any way. Nor do they have a high suicide rate, as you so irresponsibly claim.

Since we don't use the word "restrooms" in the UK I assume you are yet another tedious American who isn't satisfied with the fact that women have so few rights there and wants to object to British women having rights.

Sit down.

ParmaVioletTea · 11/05/2025 18:22

So how many women who've been sexually assaulted and need the safety and dignity of single-sex spaces would you consider would outweigh the "small and vulnerable group" of fetishistic men, who leer at women getting changed @BigHeadBertha ?

Would 20 women for every trans-identified man be enough? Or do you need a 100?

You've clearly either not read the article or thread, or been unable to understand it, or simply are here to try and silence women from protesting what these women have gone through to pat the ego of a man. It's nonsense dropped mindlessly onto a thread about a raped woman's distress.

At this point, none of the idiocy of this political ideology washes, it is just more evidence of the pathological denial of reality, absolute lack of any values or ethics, total lack of any common sense, and hatred of women. I have no energy to waste on it. Only on making damned sure I do everything in my power to protect women from any more experiences such as this poor woman was put through.

Yeah, it's not much of a leap is it !

I can't tell you how superior I feel to Bertha.

It's very incel, isn't it.

Totally. I was going to reply to the Reddit post with, incels gonna incel, losers gonna lose.

These are the people that the previous generation would've called the dregs of society.

No wonder they fell over themselves to grab an ideology where they could stick it to women, perve on them and still be classed as 'progressive'.

Waitwhat23 · 11/05/2025 18:37

I think we need to update this from stupid to vicious or cruel. They're exposing themselves hugely and peaking people all over the place, particularly with their most current, abhorrent behaviour.

Sussex University Hospitals have some crackers in their policy about workplaces which aren't totally welcoming to their staff:

"For Trusts such as BSUH, this may mean that highly skilled, qualified and compassionate individuals leave the workforce – or choose not to join it in the first place"

To be clear they are not talking about the 80% female workforce here...

Wait, wait - they’re flagging up other trusts that they think trans people wouldn’t be welcome at?

This is exactly what I've just been thinking. Like the PP who said back in the day, it used to be flashers. Now, organisations like the NHS are falling over themselves to enable men to expose themselves to women and deliberately make us feel threatened.

It's sickening, bewildering, downright misogynistic, and I hope a lot of these NHS trusts have their arses sued for their complicity in all of this.

Don’t be ridiculous! 🤣
Theres no place in the NHS that a TIM can’t go!
And be said to be stunning and brave while theyre at it

Peregrina · 11/05/2025 19:07

she can’t be scheduled somewhere else as it may hurt her feelings 🤬

Correction:
He can't be scheduled somewhere else as it may hurt his feelings.

If he's so very sensitive, how can he hold down a job in nursing?

And the powers that be wonder why there are so many scandals particularly around women and their health needs in the NHS.

It’s why I suggested writing to Streeting and Merron (actual letters not emails). Merron is Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for health. Her special remit includes patient safety and women’s health.

This case is about a man in the female changing room, where he was staring and making creepy comments.

If you think that is in any way acceptable then shame on you.

You couldn't put a cigarette paper between incels and their beliefs and TRAs and theirs.

But still people defend the TRAs and their ideology the self same people who are only too happy to denounce incels and the Andrew Tate's of this world, they can't/won't see that the virulent misogyny and contempt for women is the same just slightly different packaging.

SidewaysOtter · 11/05/2025 19:32

It's very incel, isn't it.

And just plain misogynistic.

It never fails to amaze me how many left wing men who’d pride themselves on their progressive, inclusive and liberal politics really have an issue with women. For them, this is a “legitimate” way to express that: nasty transphobic women, they brought this on themselves and they deserve the opprobrium and hatred heaped down on them.

LunaDeBallona · 11/05/2025 19:39

I’ve just had a look at the Reddit thread.
They are intensifying their vitriol as they KNOW they are loosing this.
Let them speak indeed- they peak more and more people daily and have dug their own **grave.

**grave of their mad ideology, we know their suicide rates are in line with the men they are.

Hello misogynist

women are not validation tools or human shields for men with special identities

compelling women to get undressed in front of men as part of their employment is a violation of human rights
