Greens internal drama warms up

New long article looking at the drama inside the Greens over biology suddenly existing again despite their best efforts.

How the Green Party forgot the environment and was torn apart by trans rows
It was a party united by a single mission – to save the planet. But now the gender identity debate has left it divided and in chaos

https://archive.is/TOlNx

The article is already out of date as Zack Polanski of hypnotic breasts fame has just launched a leadership bid against Deyner and Ramsey.

Emma Bateman
It's no secret that big boobs Polanski wants the top job. He is a student politics slogan churner, a self server who distains women and wants misgendering misdemeanours to be grounds for expulsion from the Greens.
He is "LGB with the T"
Still NO DEBATE!

Pro-women Greens article on his background:;
https://concernedgreens.uk/watchlist/zack-polanski/

The existence of biology is likely to be a significant part of the leadership contest for sure so interesting to watch .

Ali Shahrar has launched another legal challenge against the Greens. Gardening needed.

May 27th is the date for Emma Bateman's legal hearing against the Greens.

On May 27th I am in court against Green Party in a case which will expose the contorted lengths the Greens go to in order to shut women up.

It isn't going to go well for the Greens given the Supreme Court ruling. This could be key moment in seeing the ruling's effect on politics and directly impact the leadership contest. It will also be probably be infuriating and hilarious in equal measure.

I assume its their new logo. Perhaps they've hit the skids already and sacked all their PR/design/branding people.

Lalgarh · 24/10/2025 20:02

ArabellaScott · 24/10/2025 15:57

Well, they're leaning into it.

Flags, trans, a bunch of 'barmy' people, wealth tax, shit graphics. Absolutely no sign whatsoever of environment policies. Gone.

There's no actual Wales representation on that flag. And on the day Plaid Cymru win a seat as well.

Btw it's because the Scottish green party pasted this yesterday

KnutsfordCityLimits · 25/10/2025 07:22

I still don’t get the flag, but then I was of that old-fashioned demographic that organised local party meetings and campaigns, printed leaflets for elections, and got out and knocked on doors rather than virtue signalled on social media 🤷‍♀️.

Edited to say that the comments on X under that Scottish one are rather amusing!

Cringing myself inside out at all their shit memes.

Mainly of historical interest, but when I was looking for articles on Hypnoboobs's watermelon takeover of GPEW I came across this analysis (which is patronising, ageist and not entirely accurate) of the GPEW as a target for leftwing entryism.

Also a brief piece highlighting how Farage and Hypnoboobs have built a political powerbase by scapegoating a group and making them the target of hatred and hostility. The common strategy is:
-Define a group.
-Label them dangerous.
-Mobilise fear and moral outrage.
-Use that energy to build loyalty and silence dissent.

The same source has a useful deconstruction of the misleading claim (repeated by Hypnooboobs as part of his smear campaign) that gender-critical groups are funded by the fossil fuel lobby.

Lalgarh · 05/11/2025 12:36

Following the Mamdani Wave (TM), leftish politicos are sensing a new surge of optimism and eagerly seeking to copy eg his social media success.

Polanski was very excited about it this morning. He's no longer wanting to be the "woke Farage" but the UK older Mamdani. Spoiler 💫 then, for this

Hypnoboobs's watermelon takeover

😮

ArabellaScott · 05/11/2025 12:53

'Zack Polanski made a striking claim:

"We really need to take on this rhetoric and recognise that even the gender critical movement, there was research out last week, 45 of their campaigns have been sponsored by fossil fuel companies. And I think it's important to expose some of the division happening here."'

What the ever loving fuck is he actually on about? Does he know how much of a mad conspiracy theorist he sounds?

ArabellaScott · 05/11/2025 12:54

Oh, I see.

'Polanski's statement took a U.S. specific finding about right-wing Christian anti-trans groups and dropped it into a UK political debate, allowing audience members to infer that UK GC organisations are fossil fuel funded. This implication is false according to all public records checked'

What a prick.

He's a woman hating lying prick. Bristol is a micro example of what would happen to the country if they won

Can't tell if he's a pathological liar or a massive bullshitter. Or thick as mince, of course.

Revolting misogynist, whichever it is. As ever, bet he'd know what sex to go to if he wanted to buy a baby.

'A woman has been blocked by Bristol city council from asking Green Party leaders whether “predatory men” could enter single-sex female spaces by posing as trans women.
Helen, a university academic in the city, submitted a question to ask at the full council meeting on Tuesday evening but was told it was “offensive” and would not be allowed.
Bristol city council, led by the Green Party, has criticised the Supreme Court ruling in April that the words “woman” and “man” in the Equality Act refer to sex at birth.
The council has been openly aligned with trans activists since it passed a motion in July 2022 to “recognise and affirm trans men are men, trans women are women” and pledged <a class="break-all" href="https://archive.ph/o/cKCVX/www.thetimes.com/uk/scotland/article/councillors-consider-cuts-to-service-not-supporting-trans-women-qmzxfv82g" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">not to take advice from or award contracts “to organisations that promote an anti-trans agenda or propaganda”.'

ArabellaScott · 05/11/2025 13:22

'Tony Dyer, the Green council leader, claimed the Supreme Court ruling “falsely pitted women’s safety against trans rights” and said the “guidance does not achieve the necessary clarity and risks driving further exclusion and division for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people in society”.
In response to a consultation by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) on updates to its equalities guidance, officers at the council urged the commission to drop gendered language when referring to pregnancy, maternity and breastfeeding — calling for the term “people with ovaries” to be used and claiming sex was “assigned” at birth.
It warned against using pronouns such as “she/her” because they are not used by all “pregnant individuals” and their use could add “additional emotional and psychological distress” to such individuals and may cause “discrimination” when accessing maternity services.

Well putting aside that Dubya may still hold the title but isn't actually the President and hasn't been for quite a while, that's taken from him being informed that terrorists had just murdered hundreds of innocent people by hijacking a plane and flying it into one of the twin towers. Oh, I see he used the word 'hit', so the original tweeter seems aware of the context. It's in horrific taste.

'Ill-judged'

SionnachRuadh · 05/11/2025 16:28

The British left are always falling in love with some foreign figure and citing them as an inspiration, without understanding anything about the country their based in, or without even understanding the UK.

A few years ago it was AOC, but she's proven to be a bit of a compromiser, and I suppose there's Bernie, but he's ancient, so Mamdani fits as being young and (so far) untainted.

It all gets a bit cringe after a while, whether it's OJ bigging up Maduro (he's gone a bit quiet on that) or Zarah Sultana's people trying to sell her to American lefties as the British AOC.

It reminds me of the way Hollywood execs fall in love with a British comedian, spend lots of money bringing them over, and then go "Oh shit! We've signed Russell Brand to a five picture deal! What do we do with him?"

Actually I think it's a step down from the weird lefties I remember from my youth who were really into Enver Hoxha. At least there was some (bad) political theory behind that, and not just vibes.

ArabellaScott · 05/11/2025 16:38

Zack isn't happy to be told that he's copying Mamdani, is he? 😂

Interviewer: 'You're modelling yourself a bit on what he's done, is that fair to say?'
[Zack's fake smile slides off his face]
ZP: 'Well, it's interesting, we were roughly doing it at the same time, actually. So I think this isn't about one person learning from another.'

ArabellaScott · 05/11/2025 16:40

Lalgarh · 05/11/2025 15:30

A councillor tweeted a meme about Mamdani using a picture from September the 11th?! 😶

SionnachRuadh · 06/11/2025 09:25

Zack profiled in this week's Spectator:
Is Zack Polanski our Zohran Mamdani? | The Spectator

There's a funny thing I'm noticing from following local council by-elections. Sometimes isolated results can tell a story, e.g. there were a couple in Burnley this week that were won handily by Gaza Independents with Reform a strong second, and Labour a distant third in what were safe Labour wards a few years ago. That gives a snapshot of certain places in East Lancashire.

But you learn more by taking time, over months or years, to spot the direction of travel, how the Lib Dems are doing in Surrey, or Plaid in Cardiff, or whatever.

I'm not yet seeing any sign of a Polanski surge in those local results to mirror the national polling. Caveats here, it's early days yet, there haven't been many by-elections in London or university towns. Green candidates seem to be doing well in areas where the party already has councillors - but what I'm not seeing is a general uptick in the Green vote outside of the strongholds, 20% votes in wards where you might expect 10%, that kind of thing.

I suspect there's a sort of Corbyn effect of Zack appealing very strongly to people who are inclined to vote Green anyway, but without expanding the base much. But we will see.

cariadlet · 06/11/2025 20:48

Zack Polanski had been advertised as one of the guest on HIGNFY tomorrow but has been replaced by journalist Lewis Goodall.

I wonder why? 🤔
