May 27th is the date for Emma Bateman's legal hearing against the Greens.

On May 27th I am in court against Green Party in a case which will expose the contorted lengths the Greens go to in order to shut women up.

It isn't going to go well for the Greens given the Supreme Court ruling. This could be key moment in seeing the ruling's effect on politics and directly impact the leadership contest. It will also be probably be infuriating and hilarious in equal measure.

Green Party deputy leader Mothin Ali has released a video saying the party is "fully backing" Mr Malik.
In the video Mr Ali said that "any punitive measures that authorities take against him are discriminatory".
"They're targeting him for his activism," Mr Ali added.

Grace Blakeley and Gary Stevenson aren't actually economists per se. The latter made a fortune out of the 2008 crash but has turned gamekeeper as it were, to describe how bad he felt making a shit ton more than his dad would in a year in an afternoon. That is horrible and shows clearly how he doesn't see anyone in a bum-wiping job (immigrant or not) as the same kind of person as him or on his superior level at all.

It's a job I've done (working for a woman with CP) and I realised how important it is, because these basic bodily things that most of us can do for ourselves mean we have the privilege of privacy and safety in relation to them. Someone who is doing that for someone else has a lot of responsibility and has to genuinely care and be respectful.

He's showing he knows nothing about respect and care and other people's dignity and the importance of so many lower-paid, lower-status jobs done by an army of real, human people he prefers to dismiss. I think this kind of gaping crack in his actual capacity to care about stuff, rather than just be an egotistical mouthpiece, is going to be his downfall because he just can't help revealing himself as the entitled, misogynist snob he really is.

Yeah the comments below are calling out the truly despicable person in this, um Wes Streeting who seized on it.

It does seem pretty telling that it outlines a Dubai style attitude towards cheap labour from abroad who'll do the work he can't deign to do. When we had carers coming in for my parents quite a few were actually ex "professional jobs" ppl who had taken to this. Care work always has vacancies. Always. It's not just the icky stuff but the shit pay and the emotional trauma. One carer I chatted to told me she'd had to stop visiting one client as she spent her entire day's alone and crying. You don't get that managing a bar.

There is already "zackxplaining" in the comments saying what he actually meant was that he's hugely grateful and they are appreciated. Someone else also Zackxplained that his (ZP) partner is a care worker. So maybe he should have led with that and said how utterly grueling and thankless and underpaid the work is? He'd also claimed that while we need to protect green space, every inch, we must build on brownfield about 1 million homes. He wasn't picked up on the apparent dissonance of saying refugees should be welcomed , but that they shouldn't be anywhere near that Sussex barracks Rachel Millward is campaigning about, not where they should be housed. Which would be one thing if the greens didn't also oppose building on brownfield too.
