Mumsnet is not and never has been a "safe" space for anything.

Some topics are more supportive than others, but at the end of the day this is a large and wide open chat site, and anyone who thinks it is (or ever has been) a "safe" space needs swiftly disabusing of that.

I quite like non-transphobic lesbians as long as they're not men claiming to be lesbians.

Mumsnet seems safe. I think we might have different definitions of safe.

Interesting you chose to pose your question on the FWR Sex and Gender Board.

What do you envisage a 'safe' space to be? Why do you need one?
