You are correct, trans activists really don't care about violence towards women, in fact they are often the instigators of violence against women. I was once a lurker too, a few years ago.

I have read many threads and also watched video clips where trans activists are screaming and hurling abuse at women, some of them were also violent towards the women. The banners and posters which the T.A. wave around have nasty messages written on them, threatening death, decapitation, or 'suck my d*', that kind of thing. The women were sometimes hemmed in wherever it was that they had all met up, with no way of escape, at times they were chased, having to take safety within a shop. I have noticed that the police presence was often as good as nothing regarding the women's safety in a public place.

That was all I needed to see (and read) about what was going on. I made my mind up pretty quickly, after a few visits to this forum, regarding the rights and wrongs and how dangerous it had become for women and girls in single sex spaces.

It can affect your mental health in a bad way when you realise exactly what is going on. I can't thank the women enough who brave these threatening crowds, along with everyone else who contributes in their own way to fight for our rights to single sex spaces... once again.

P.S. I absolutely love, and very much appreciate, all JKR has done and continues to do for us. She is one amazing, strong, clever, woman 😍

The guillotine is an implied threat, not a literal threat. It's saying; "Violence could happen to you and I'd be happy to do it if you don't do what I want."
IMO it's not a particularly credible threat (it's more like a creepy blowhard mouthing off) and could not be criminally charged as such because it's not aimed at any particular person, but why on earth would you try to defend something so vile by minimizing.

Of course JKR gets threats. Every outspoken, well known female public figure gets death threats and rape threats, even more so if they are terfs because they have left wing whackos after them in addition to right wing whackos. Hell, I've had them myself, even though I was completely anonymous, just because I ran a political forum and was outspoken on it. They tried to find out who I was IRL and said they would do terrible things, even threatened to kill my kids.
This is what life is like for "difficult" women who refuse to suck up to men and keep quiet.
